The artwork is adorable, and I love the puzzles! Nice work. I got to about 6 before running into puzzles I've already seen though, so I didn't play too much further after that.

I really liked the art style - gave me DOS game vibes. Ditto what @100th-coin said about the repeating puzzles. The concept is solid, but some variation in the design would have gone a long way to make new levels more interesting.

Overall, nice work!

simple but good execution! idk if it's intended but being able to place the stone blocks anywhere (including midair) means you can cheese levels, but i still had fun!

@james-kusardi Thanks for playing our game! Placing blocks mid air is intentional although we may experiment with removing it

The controls took some getting used to but it looks nice and plays well.

you get alot of mileage out of a simple idea and in turn you've made a pretty addictive puzzle game!

I liked this but I felt the controls were kinda weird. Pressing W to jump and Space to dig was a weird concept for me, as I associate both with jumping, but usually Space is the default jump button. Kinda caused some mild frustration but I mean it didnt stop me from playing, although I would consider adding some sort of alternate controls if possible. And like @james-kusardi was talking about, placing the stone in midair led me to what I thought were cheesed levels. Not a bad game tho, I thought the mechanics otherwise were pretty good. I didn't encounter any bugs or anything.

I think the midair block place caused the whole thing to be fairly easy but it was still an interesting experience that only has potential to grow greater with further additions to the current base!

I really liked how the levels reset if you restarted. Caused you to think each time you came into a run. Great game.

Wow, my brain felt so small playing this game. I have never played a puzzle game like this, and it was quite the challenge. I think some music would've really helped set a mood, but overall, good work!

Artwork is great! I liked the little noises as well. The game itself is really fun, but I think it got a little too hard too quickly, the first puzzles were already kinda rough. I guess they were more just a lot to move than hard. Either way, very fun. Good job!

Cool way of doing a mining game, would be awesome if it was expanded with other blocks, as it gets a bit repetitive after a few "levels". I liked how you included the tutorial too!

i like the overall idea but it was a bit too complicated for my brain :D
also, i made a mistake directly in the first step of the tutorial and didn't know how to reset (because the "R" key is explained further down)

Really nice concept and realization, cute and all. I don't have time right now to focus on it and beat it but I might try it again. Good job

@zeha Good point! We will add a little questions mark icon in the top corner that will list of the controls, just in case

Managed to get stuck on the first part of the tutorial... twice... in a way that I had to restart the game to complete the tutorial.
Had not very hopes for me after that.

But on my second go I managed to complete the tutorial, understand the mechanics and properly play the game.
I like the puzzle mechanic, you really need to think before you start digging. Also nice pixel art, I like it!

I quite like the game, it's simple yet difficult nature. you should plan ahead before digging dirt away

I personally missed the background music... Also too bad that you can't interact with the red..... ketchup bottle at the right end of the level.

Nice, simple puzzle game. I would like to see more types of blocks that complicate the puzzle, along with some particle effects and animation when you jump or pick up or break blocks. Overall al clean experience with simple but visually clear graphics. Nicely done.

Definitely a good core idea here. Very cute sprite work and fun gameplay. Control scheme was a bit unusual but didn't take too long to get the hang of it. Would love to see gamepad support in the future perhaps. Nice work!

Great idea, but the fact that restart puts you all the way to start was not fun :(

Other than that, well done!

Liked the digging mechanic and block moving but would be nice if the controls had more options as it was a bit awkward to jump and dig. The simple art style was good with the gameplay and made the focus on the puzzles which worked well.
