Really cool game ! I think progression could be speed up a bit in early, but that's a good game for the theme

I love these type of games. They are addicting to me. This was a good one. I feel, if it were juiced up and the default speed of the cast were a lot quicker, would really help the game give it that extra oomph to make it feel great. Overall, fun game I enjoyed it :). It sure does get really dark when you get deep into the water.

Nice entry, I love a good fishing game. It would probably benefit from separating the shop from each catch, it becomes kinda annoying when it pops up even when you can't afford anything. Nice work though.

Nice work. I also think the game would be a bit more fun if the speed of the casting was a bit faster.

I have a bug with flying fish after catch up.

I enjoyed it. It was a bit of a grind to get that last upgrade for line length, but I did max out my upgrades and catch the million-dollar fish.

Really nice game, could have used some sound, but it is understandable if there weren't enough time for it. Noticed that sometimes after I had bought an upgrade and I got enough money for the next upgrade in that line (while I was saving up for something else), it would just buy the next upgrade in that line once I caught the fish that put me over the limit. Other than that, pretty solid game, good job :)

Really cute and addictive game. Did feel a little slow at first but upraded my reel speed and was fine! Was still a little annoying that when you get to the boat, the speed drops right back down to the original. Possibly having a fast animation where the fish is pulled out of the water quickly would be a nice touch or even just having it come out at the same speed as the reel if that would be less time consuming to do.

Graphically very cute and nice colours. I liked the idea of having to upgrade the light which added more depth (hehe see what I did there) to the graphics without making them more complex. Maybe slight variation in fish design would have been nice although I expect the one fish was also due to time restrants!

Gameplay was very smooth overall and it was more dynamic that you didn't just press and hold to reel in the fish but had to keep an eye on the bar making the game more engaging. Had some issues actually catching fish occasionally though meaning I had to double/triple tap to catch a fish which seemed like it possibly came from needing to be in contact with the fish for a certain time period and my line was too fast and speeding by? Other than that, no gameplay issues!

Overall, really nice entry and well polished especially given this is a compo entry! Amazing job and well done!

Nice game! I just felt the progression was a bit slow, that could be improved for a post jam version.

Congrats for your submission!

Nice game, kept me engaged once I got started, nice progression. For a post-jam version, it could be nice with more fish, and maybe a harbour where you can go and trade.
