I've played similar games and they can be quite fun. However, I do feel like this one is a bit rough around the edges and needs some improvements to be enjoyable.

First off, I think it would be neat to reset the score after you die. I'd like to see how many coins I can amass before I die :P
Secondly, using the cannon is a bit awkward due to the scrolling, and it would be cool if you found a way to better aim at the enemies
Finally, getting off screen disorients me and you should do something like making the player lose a heart instead of sending them zooming across the screen.

Other than that, the graphics are rather cool. I like the little character and the overall simple yet strangely effective style :)

This was a fun little game. The controls are a bit sensitive but once I got the hang of them I was splatting all sorts of slimes :smile:

Good small game, like the previous comment stated, controls are a bit sensitive but it is still kinda fun and well done for a compo !
