This is my first ever game :D

Congratz!!! Crazy to do it in js. Great idea! I get a "owchies" message, and it says to press y but nothing happens.
Did I do something wrong? I am using the Brave browser. Which browser did you test it with? Thanks, and kudos for getting to the end of the jam with your finished game!!!

That's very strange. I get owchies too in Brave. In Opera it runs very slow and it runs even slower in Vivaldi. It runs fine in Chrome and firefox. I learn a lot from the Jam and it was fun, so I'm winning :) In Brave browser, setting background(0) results in colour 1,0,1 not 0,0,0.
Having hardware rendering can help in other browsers.

This is a great little game design. The control scheme is challenging but interesting to master. I really wanted more levels to play!

Nice design, ran a bit slow in Chrome for me, but that could be because I have loads of tabs open. Some more levels would be fun! Also interesting choice to use JS, I wonder if that added any extra challenge?

Thanks for pointing out the speed issues, next time I will test more and try not to do huge slow looping inside the main game loop.

Sorry I ran out of time to make more levels and I also wanted to add a clock and record best speeds. #nextTime

Wow great first game! I would pick up the speed and this game and add more levels as my suggestion. I hope you make more games in the future great start!

I think it's a respectable first game, and I'm glad you chose to jam with us!
It is pretty rough to play, however. The slow acceleration makes the game feel clumsy to play.

Graphics were good, could have used background music. "Maiden's life sphere" somehow made me think it was gonna be Touhou-themed. Overall one of the better games I've played tonight, and it runs better than the Unity WebGL games.

Agreed with others on the speed/responsiveness feeling a bit slow, but still definitely had some challenge due to the momentum before reaching turns!

Nice concept and cool game, but it is just extremely slow (I used Chrome). I will try again once you have sped up the game a bit. Good first try though!

The controls work well and i found it easy to control where the maiden would go.
However, something i struggled with was the hitbox for the maiden. It seemed to be bigger than the actual sprite so i kept hitting the wall when i thought i could make it through.
Either way a solid entry!
