Wow the game is really cool ! At the beginning I thought that it will be very basic stuff but after some levels and with all the mechanics the game is really fun and challenging ! Good job on this one !
If I have only one advice, you could have made a more detailled presentation for your game but it's fine, we are rating the game :D.
Also, sometimes the colors can be a little bit confusing.

The puzzles were very well made. They got to be very difficult by the end. The root generation was fun and satisfying as well.

While I did appreciate you adding commentary on the sides of the game, it did kind of through off the vibe a bit. Not a huge negative, I was just so immersed in the rest of the game that it kind of took my out of it.

This game was really cool. Great puzzle design and progression, with good ah-ha moments. I always wanted to keep playing. To answer the question of level progression, it is good to sometimes have an easier level in the mix as you need both highs, lows, and mids to create good engagement. Think of it like the player needs a break/rest sometimes - in a good combat game, there are areas where there are no enemies. Overall great work and great game.

Really good puzzle game. It has potential. Difficult at times but not too difficult. I really like the drawing mechanics - it feels good. After some polishing this could be a great title (also for mobile devices).
I also like the music.
Suggestion: the "Next" level button could be placed in better location. Now it's a bit too far from the game area and it feels awkward to me. I would show it somewhere in the center of the play area after level is finished.

Interesting puzzle game, some levels are really hard.
Moving to the next level is a bit clunky, and I sometimes pressed reset instead of next :x

@owca @jedemac thank you for comment. I didn't think people would click that button that often tbh. The best option of course to place it in the middle, but during shitcode for making this game in 10 hours I can't draw any UI on top of roots :D

I feel too stupid trying to remember the color mixing rules) Peppy music is motivating to keep trying. We need easy levels and rest!

I really liked the idea and execution of the game. Maybe I'm just stupid or bad at colors but I can't seem to get past level 2? I either make brown and purple or purple and green but can't seem to make just purple and green.

@barindwalin when I started to code the game I understood, that I don't remember how colors mix. To add to this I had some knowledge about RGB and CMYK, but also from years ago. I spent an entire hour just to make sure what colors to use and decide on mixing rules)

@pookipoot you don't have to grow root to the star. grow blue one a little bit and then grow other 2 colors over it to get purple and green

I really like the central mechanic here, I would spend hours playing a puzzle like this. I will be honest though, it took me way too long to figure out what the minus did. Like, it's REALLY obvious, but for some reason I just didn't get it. A slick idea, and a fun puzzle game!

@threeli yeah, I should've put minus instead of plus in tutorial. but people do figure this out eventually anyway :)

That was a really fun puzzle game! I have no idea about colors, but I managed to learn the necessary combinations just by playing around.
The commentary-text also added a bit of personality to the game :)
Had a great time figuring out all the solutions!
