They got me in the end! Some intense music could really have elevated this, I think. I think what the game is missing (unless it does have it and I just didn't find it) is some way to heal, to introduce a bit of strategy (go for the heal or fight or keep running?) and give you some agency. Heavy screen flickering when I ran in it fullscreen mode, but fine when in a window. Gameplay was good, controls responsive and clear instructions given at the beginning.
