Flare by emmyoop
Explore deeper and deeper. Will it ever end? Together you can find out.
Objective
Find your way through the puzzle with a friend (or on your own) as you explore deeper and deeper underground.
Challenge
One player plays first person and controls the flame while the other player helps them through the puzzle by manipulating the world.
Best enjoyed with a controller, but keyboard is supported.
Note: This game is intended to be local co-op but can be played single player. If you choose to play single player you will need to switch views manually to be able to enjoy the game.
This is the first Game Jam we've been able to participate in while the kids have been gone. It is definitely quieter!
POST LD Changes
- WebGL build finally works (after fighting with Unity for nearly a week I finally blew away the project library folder and low and behold the WebGL build runs - /facepalm)
- There are some outstanding bugs documented in the itch.io page that i'd like to fix.

I like the idea behind it. The player movement seems kinda off for me.
Overall great entry and gl :D
I had some trouble with the controls. The mouse turning felt slow and kind of floaty. I also think the rotation speed for the observer is much too slow. I felt pretty disoriented while playing. I noticed an issue with the grey blocks getting nudged out of place and becoming unmovable.
It's an interesting game and I think it could be a lot of fun with some minor changes to the controls. Nice work on it.
