Hey man this is a good game. Went to 20 o2 upgrade. I died because of a slime though. A little more invincibility time would've been nice. Also some jumps were impossible. I don't know if that is by design, but jump upgrades would've been a nice addition too. But overall I really had fun trying to upgrade and balance my hearts.

ps I liked the elevator music

Absolutely loved the setting and execution. The stones effect, elevator music, just so damn good.
The difficulty grind sure spiked a lot on the very second floors though. That platforming required some skills I do not posess.

Pretty cool idea even if sometimes the platforming is complicated and seems impossible.

Appologies for anyone who already played, there was a bug that caused the player to move slower at fps below 144. This has now been fixed.

Very polished for a jam game. Controls felt solid. Music felt solid. I liked the tension of getting back before your oxygen ran out.

Very solid work. Would've loved if there was a reason to going out other than upgrades. Like the drill needs to be maintained like with a hammer or something like that. Very satisfying controls on the platforming. Great artstyle! Had lots of fun with that one.

Love the 'one tool many uses' idea for the pickaxe

This was a really neat setup for a game. The gold system really added an interesting level of complexity. The sound design is really really well done. I really enjoyed my time with this entry

Wow, that game is really well put together. :pick: It has great pixel art with nice little details (like the running particles). Probably my favorite part was how you did the controls. It was really responsive and it made the gameplay smooth. The sound effects and the music were also great. The oxygen system was frustrating at first (having to return so often), but then it set the pacing of the game well.

All in all, the overall game felt polished. Thank you for this experience!

Wow i keep finding great games. well done. love the art style and the concept is simple yet solid. sound is great too and difficulty is a bit up there for me but i still liked it alot. i like controlling direction and jumping with separate hands but that's just me. controls seem pretty standard but they are responsive and that helps me alot. thanks and keep up the great work.

Plays well, lots of polish, and great sound design. Level design's a bit brutal, and not really in a fun way. Pretty solid overall. I do love the idea!

This game was amazing. I really cant believe this was done in 72 hours. Pixel art, animations sound, everything is great! I had some issues though, It would have been preferable if I didnt have to click everytime for a new pickaxe hit. What i mean is, I intuitively kept the mousebutton pressed, thinking it will just keep mining. Also the fall damage was reallllllyyy frustrating xD. Other than that, this game is aMAZING!

I've already played so many floors and only reading the comments now I realised I could have just throw the thing to kill slimes.

Anyway, well done for achieving so much in just a weekend!

wow pretty great, I kept going for a good long while before I called it a day at 15000 and it seemed I had seen all there was to see. The core loop is really nicely designed with getting deeper to get more gold to get oxygen whihch makes mining further easier etc. All feels really well polished for a game jam too, art is nice, sound is also great with the little elevator music while going down etc. Only downside was limited number of reused levels. I would have rather had an ending after all the variations had been exhausted also or some increasing challenge because I felt I coudl have carried on forever pretty easily. Also I second @ancooper with the gamepad request, predicsion platforming with keyboard isn't so fun. Still great work though.
