The pixel art and color palette are amazing :D :D
I liked the world and the characters too.
With a bit more polish on the mechanics for example being able to dodge when going up or more reactive controls, this could become a pretty cool game!

Amazing visuals!! Gameplay feels a bit stiff, sfx and music are really cool too and very well executed. Really cool idea, the well reminded me of Hollow Knight. Great job, solid entry! :D

I really loved the concept, it was quite funny to play, even if the controls were a little bit difficult use.
Nice job guys !

Nice job, really cool to have made this all the way to a boss!
Graphics and gameplay are nice though pretty classic, the sound felt a bit underpolished.
I liked the setting and the dots of humor, overall a cool little game.

You'right, it's a lovely game

The retro gaming style is perfect, the visuals and FX are impressive.
You should add support of azerty keyboards, allow the character to move when he attack, and also allow to dash up.

I enjoy this game !

It is really feeling like a world, I played to completion I think :)
Constructive feedback : the default view is a little too zoomed in. It is good to put the lovely assets front and center, but you end up jumping on platforms at the edge of your field of vision very frequently ! Loved the boss and the dashing mechanic ( which could do damage? )

Looks really great! Is there a reason you've opted out of graphics? A couple of things could've used some more sound feedback but at least there is some sound in there. I assume there is nothing more after beating the boss? I just jumped through the wall after that :P.

This game just oozes charm. There's a couple of things that are frustrating like how the attacks queue up and stop you from moving. But theres a lot of fun everywhere. From the sheep sounds to the buff main character.

Nice graphics together with good music create a very good atmosphere. I suck at this kind of games though and those shooting bastards kept killing me. Might be a bit easier if you could jump attack or even move while attacking. Keep up the good work!

The slow attack and floaty physics turned me off at first, but I sort of got used to it at some point and it stopped bothering me. For some reason I couldn't buy the attack range powerups, despite having more than enough gold.

Overall felt really strong, maybe that's intentional? Health was plentiful so I just charged at stuff and generally came out at or near full health.

end boss musta had a zillion HP for the number of times it took to bring him down. His blue laser attack never seemed to be targeting me.

Graphics are nice and consistent, and round things out nicely.

Nice work!

Looked super nice and was fun to play, especially with the dash. I thought the layout of the levels was paced well to introduce the dash, dash+jump mechanics, although it felt a little too easy in combat at times, I just ran in swinging!

Would have been good to have a health bar for the boss, I wasn't actually sure whether I was meant to be attacking him because he seemed to soak a lot of damage.

Nice work!

@fireslash @wilsk Thank you for the feedback! The boss seems to have this much health because the shop is currently broken. Normally you would have one or two damage power ups coming into the last fight which would make it less tedious to bring the boss down. We are working on a bugfix.

Great graphics and sound! The controls are a bit constrained as has been mentioned by others above but other than that makes a good retro-style platformer. Well done!

Really fun metroidvania style game. I think you could've had each of the abilities for purchase as upgrades that you unlock when you explore different parts of the map rather than having them as items your buy from the shop. That would probably require more time to implement so it's good as it is.

The art style is pretty cool. I did like how each of the map has a sort of color palette scheme, giving a different vibe per map. Maybe a variert of enemies would also enhance the map variety.

Good game, well done

Hey there, thanks for sharing this game with me on stream, was a pleasure to play it. I love the art style and the boss mechanics are well thought through, they actually remind me of Magnus, a maplestory boss. Well done, good job !

The graphics were very cool. Falling in the pit made me feel like I was going "deeper" which was good. Good job on this and thanks for sharing! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=2h8m57s

Wow, this was a great entry! Love the roguelike vibes and the whole atmosphere from art, music and gameplay. The camera lookahead was a bit jarring at times, otherwise really good, keep it up!

Pretty cool platformer. Cool concept. I really like the art style, the music and the whole concept. My only complaint will be the controls. I think the jump as a W button would be much better. Or go for the more standard one: A and D to move, W to jump, Z to attack, X to jump, C to interact. Then will you have a nice two-handed setup with all the important buttons side by side.

Shame the theme was deeper and deeper because i really liked the vibe of the world on the surface. It would be nice if the enemy wasn't able to shoot through the walls

Really nice game! You actually had alot of content for such a short experience and everything felt really polished and comfortable. You even had a Boss (okay the laser attack felt a little bugged but I know that this kind of move is a pain in the a** for the programmers) and two enemies with additional variations. Even a shop with different upgrades! Good job
