This game felt a bit weird, i'm not going to lie. I didn't make it past level 2 because the jumps on the tiny block were too difficult. The thing that frustrated me the most was that in level 1 you could double jump but not in level 2 ? The controls are really challenging, mostly due to the speed of the character.
I'm not sure if you tested it out, but you can also hold the two guns at the same time in the first level.

I'd just like to point out something in the options : the commands are really hard to read. They were deep gray on brown here.

@theapplecake thnks for the feedback umm it is hard you need control for it and the two guns umm ik that i tested it i thought it was cool i guess it's not and i realise now that my controls color are gray but the jam was frustrating and i submitted the game on like 1 minute before deadline anyways thnks for the feedback ill improve my mistakes

@timepass Sorry to hear that it was a frustrating experience for you :(

The two guns mechanic could actually be a cool mechanic. I mean dual wielding is not a bad thing. But in the future, i would recommend trying to make it so you don't have the guns overlapping each others, as it makes it more look like a bug than a feature :)

And yeah i know the struggles of running out of time, it happened a lot to me many many times. But congrats for submitting in time !

Interesting move controls, very ambitious idea. Sometimes a bit hard to control because the player was very fast.

There were some neat ideas in there, I liked the grappling hook and wall running segments in level 1. I was only able to make it to level 2, I had a hard time jumping across the minecraft style blocks in the beginning of that level. I think that part would've been made easier if I didn't have to turn around from the moon to start the level, it'd make it faster to retry those jumps.

This reminds me a lot of some of my early game jams: too much ambition! I saw above that you said that jam was frustrating, which is such a shame. I absolutely love game jams, and I hope you don't give up on them. I'd definitely recommend tackling an idea with a much smaller scope next time. Hopefully that'll give you more time to really hone the experience and give it some extra testing and polish.

Also, we used the same elevator music in our game! Really confused me when I heard it in yours 😂

@timepass - re-downloaded, looks like it runs now. level one i was not really sure what i was doing since the character was facing the opposite direction comapred to the intended direction of travel. so i ended up strafing while looking around and just falling off the platform. also the lean while walking up to a way was borderline nauseating in a way that i've only experienced in some vr games. also it seemed like the player's friction was super low, resulting in some very slippery landings, which made precision platforming extra challenging.

that said, you've clearly managed to implement some cool mechanics here, and it would be neat to see what you can turn it into with a bit more development!

edit - oh, and im not sure but i think using minecraft assets is a bit of a no-go? or at least using them while also getting rated on graphics?

Not bad, i appreciated the progressive tutorial. Many transversal mechanics! I was surprised by that.
Good effort!

I like the idea of the elevator, but the levels are a bit annoying. It's quite hard to move around, and especially the grappling hook is hard to control. In the first level when you respawn it's annoying that you need to wait a few seconds watching the intro again before you can play. And in the second level it's annoying that you start rotated the wrong way. By the way, you should probably opt-out of the graphics and audio rating, as you used assets that aren't yours (Minecraft blocks, elevator music), or clarify in your description which assets were not made by you.

A Bit janky, and that's crucial if you make a platforming game, it has to feel good to control the character, and in this one i kinda felt like i was fighting against my own character. Now looking past the charcter controlling, the game is actually really solid! I like the idea of progressing levels, the elevator was a nice touch, and the grappling hook was very satisfying! a great entry to the jam for sure, nice job!

Nice game!
There are a lot of interesting mechanics that make up for a fun prototype.

As other said, I believe you should opt out of graphics and audio categories.
