I loved everything about this. At first I thought the fuel was too generous but that was just not true. Very well implemented. Great job!

Nice entry! Is it just me or does speed seem more like a downgrade (makes it way harder)?

A really nice little game. But couldn't navigate well enough with the launch speed upgrade xD

Cute game. It reminded me of old flash games that had a similar gameplay loop, I used to play those a lot :) good work

Very good concept!! Just lacked a soundtrack, wich you could have used a royalty free one.

very cute and fun little game. The upgrades were really nicely implemented and despite being a really low key art, it fit perfectly. Controls felt fluid and responsive while still being a part of the challenge.

Only critique is that I think the speed increase was actually a negative factor. It was hard enough to dodge the comets at the slowest speed. Perhaps if the camera panned out a little bit or we had some sort of advance notice of incoming danger this would offset it nicely!

Nice game. Lack sounds and was a bit too long for buying upgrades tho.

If you wanna get further avoid that launch speed. Sheesh. But... if you're reading this it's already too late. :D

Beat the game. Reached deep space! I love these kind of upgrade/replayable type of games.

Simple and fun! It's kinda similar to Hedgehog Launch, but it's still executed well. Nice job!

Just played through and I think I won? I got all of the upgrades and had fun doing so! It was a bit difficult to get far whenever I got the speed upgrades. Also wished that the levels were randomized, but otherwise good execution!

I was much more impressed than I thought I would be. The game starts off looking like a variant on those generic endless space shooter games, but there's a gem here instead. The game mechanics are actually very interesting and I found myself engaged the entire time, it's an interesting mix of almost an idle stats based game with a space shooter. I played till I maxed out all the stats, I never figured out what government influence does though. Overall I was very impressed, a bit of spicing up the graphics (particle effects and such) and adding some sounds and this game would something I'd play on my phone. Great game!

I think you could have really benefited from a soundtrack, but I enjoyed getting to upgrade my fuel! This was fun!

Weirdly addictive. I wish there were some power ups to grab too, but I played this game was exactly what I needed after ld48 submission.

This game is super hard! The asteroids are huge and the slow turning makes them really hard to avoid. I think the best design choice you made was making the asteroid pattern the same every time, since if it was random it'd be just dumb luck, but this way you can memorize it and get a little farther each time (although it's still really hard, even knowing in advance where they'll be). Is launch speed really an upgrade? It helps at first when fuel is the bottleneck, but farther in it just makes things harder.

Link works for me! I like the idea, it's interesting minimizing your turning to have enough fuel. I did think it was tough to react but I did get to the end and the thanks for playing screen. Good game!

so fun! smooth play, love the idea of satellite resource management XD. would love to see an animation for "failure" when resources run out or you run into an asteriod

Liked the game! It was fun, but the very high integrity penalty for bouncing on the sides of the screen was a bit harsh!

This is a great idea. Really cool take on this genre/mechanic. Only feedback is that the integrity degradation is not explained, and seems unfair. I would like to benefit from a good initial shot by coasting further. well done.

I spent about 20 or 30 minutes playing the game, and maxed out the upgrades. It was surprisingly fun, even if the concept is a bit overdone. The game played well, and I didn't face any issues. My biggest complaint about the game is the end screen of all things. Towards the beginning, it wasn't clear to me why I was losing (didn't notice the passive drain on the integrity).

The best thing I think you could do for this game would be adding an end screen with some info. For example, the aforementioned death reason, the playtime/distance, money collected, etc. That would give each round more value, and would leave the player with a clearer metric to judge their performance on.

One more nitpick: I'm not sure the speed upgrade was actually an upgrade, because now I have to do the same manoeuvres with least time to think and act.

Awesome game! The fact that you have to manage your fuel forces you to remember the layout of the level in the early phase, so you can find the most performant route. Then with the first speed upgrade the gameplay shifts more and more towards avoiding the obstacles and makes it interessting throughout the entire game!
Awesome Job!

Hi everybody! The speed upgrade was intended to be a way to blow up small meteors but I didn't have time to put it in!! :( Thanks for all the feedback!

Also I wanted to add a sound track but that had to be cut as well!

I am glad people could reach the end!

@hassan-abouelela Thanks for all the honest feedback! I 100% agree with the speed upgrade being a down grade it was meant to do something else but I ran out of time!

Also you are right about the death screen which was up there on my list of things to do but once again had to be cut for time. :(

Fantastic game. I played this one the longest so far. I took me a few tries to realize that your up and down control weren't broken. I was just pressing W & S instead of up and down, LOL. Once i figured that out it was a whole new game. Now i could have the fuel and influence the government, LOL. Well polished. Controls responded great. Game was fun. Would have been nice to have audio, but other than that great game. I had a blast playing it.

I really enjoyed this game. Ended up playing it way longer than intended and my kid even took a few goes at it. I had no idea why I lost control at first but quickly adapted to the game and I couldn't resist giving nearly 100 attempts to see just how far I could get, especially with the level ups! Sounds affects would have amplified the experience but I still look forward to playing this one in the future. Great work!

It was pretty fun for me! It felt like buying the upgrades to some extent made the game harder but it was also necessary to win. I didn't think the game would have an ending, but I reached it! Good job!
