The Tree brings forth children from the bones. You desire more.

Go forth and explore.

Collect what grows and determine how to combine plants to survive the wilderness.

Each generation teaches the next what it has learned.

Learn to forage and pass the knowledge down. Pick plants with Space. Combine with 1-5 keys. Eat with E and drop undesired plants with X

Nice Game! The audio is wild haha but in a good way. Is there not a lot of combos or am I a dummy. I could only find like 5 or 6

interesting game! i like the idea, but the movement being so wonky and constantly needing to go back to the tree is more frustrating because of it. something else that might be useful is a little bit more of an explanation about combining plants? unless you want it to be a complete mystery, which also makes sense for the game too! nice work :)

the ambiance sound in game UI hints and tile set were gorgeous.
Movement feels off, im not sure why I kept stopping and starting, and it wasnt super clear where i could and could not move.

I love the generational progression and the unnerving theme contrasted with the lush green level.

Weird and atmospheric! The noises were nicely spooky and I liked all the little plants and varied terrain. I will say I had trouble discerning which bits of terrain were impassible, but overall I'll be thinking about this one.

interesting premise and your art style and sfx are super cool, the only problem I ran into was the way the bar went down even if you were stuck running into a tile got me into a few sticky situations. Good work!

At first I didn't get it. I'm pretty sure I still don't get most of its mechanics. Still great exploration of the theme. Overall mood is awesome. My only grevience would be controls though it might be intentional. Still I would like to control my character a little bit easier.

I really like the idea of the game and the mechanic of passing knowledge is really creative and well done. The graphics looked really cool and the sounds were a bit scary. The movement felt a bit clunky and could be much smoother and I think the ghosts were really scary. To sum it up a really cool foraging game with ghosts :)

The movement is a bit annoying, but beside that I like the game. Neat pixel art. :)

Thanks all for the comments, I hear you on the movement. Will fix. Also thinking of switching to real plants for edutainment. We'll see.

Nice, but a little boring, because mechanics aren't clear - I needed many starts for understood that not all flowers are useful. And a little more to understood that I should craft something. And You need exactly match with flower's tile to catch it. And you can't see some flowers on thick grass. However, it nice and very fascinatingly.
