After a while i wasn't sure if I was supposed too just get to the next level, or if I was supposed to clear all the zombies. Since ammo is scarce, I just avoided all the zombies until the next boss. But the levels just kept on repeating? Mondays I guess :)

idk where the car is but the music is sooo chill that even the zombie coworker stopped to listen
The graphics are really nice though and I liked the concept. Well done!
Btw my antivirus had some complaints about the exe file, it was quite a challenge to run the game :-) I don't know if it's something you can fix.
I think the gameplay gets a little bit repetitive at some point. Just because I was curious I kept playing until infected hit 0. After that there were still more zombies even after the counter hit zero, the next time you switch levels the game crashes.
Another thing that hampered the fun a bit is it was hard to discern the difference between walls and paths, because they are both flat. Early in the game I spent some levels running circles because the way I needed to go looked like a wall.
The art looks good, the mood is funny. All in all I like it.
Well done!
If you put on window mode you can see and actually in our game the ui is bugged too :D
Then replayed the entire game to see the ending ... health packs, checkpoints, anything like that would've been nice to have.
I try to not let this influence the rating tho.
Had fun. Love the guitar track and the mood. Gameplay could use more interesting enemies and changing environment. Felt a bit like a grind to get all 100 :cold_sweat: Also, I found that my melee range was significantly better when attacking enemies to the left than to the right. Got easier after figuring that out.
Thanks for the game!
Gameplay is fine enough, I only hope you build on that aspect a bit, because right now it is kinda basic. And... I kinda found music to be breaking mood of your game.

And the intelligence of the zombies is also a little weak.
Second, I liked the simple graphics, you two did a good job on that front. The music fits quite well with the general mood too :)
Lastly, I suggest that you maybe use the first level as a tutorial or guide of some sort, so the players know what to do or expect.
edit:
So I went back and replayed the game. I was suspecting I was missing something, and ofc I did not read your instructions for the controls XD (this is on me). In any case, I found the door and from there kept going.
A few remarks:
- The game gets a bit repetitive after some time, though I understand that in a game jam there is only so much you can do.
- I noticed that the zombies do not see you unless you enter a certain radius, this makes sense, but this made it too easy to kill some of them as I could snipe them from far. Maybe impose a greater number of bullets to kill if you are outside that radius. It's good that you made the zombies quit the chase when the player gets too far.
- It was also a bit strange that a kill needs 4 hits with the briefcase or 4 bullets. Maybe melee attacks should be weaker ? These are small changes but they add some flavor to the mix.
- Same remark about the radius for the boss. I shot him with ten bullets, I did not need to move.
All in all I really enjoyed playing. And I hope you keep working on the game and perhaps develop the story further. Though the zombie apocalypse theme has been present since forvever I found the attitude you imbued into the main character to be funny. What he says rises a lot of questions that I would like to see answered. And this is a sign of a game with good potential.
Running in circles for eternity until I realised that I need to kill zombies, not outrun them :)
Somehow (don't know if it is the bug or something wrong with my system), when I open the game it also opens steam VR application and connects to my VR headset which loads my GPU to 100% :D
I liked the visuals and gameplay (missed a aiming with mouse though), music created great atmosphere too.

Worst monday ever :smirk: But very cool game overall, just when I was complaining a bit too much about not having ammo for my gun, a zoombie dropped some.
I enjoyed it! Well done :)
