@quetzakol You managed to hit the one minute when I moved the file and not updated the game page

Ah ah, bad luck ^^

I managed to play the WebGL version. I loved it! The gameplay is simple but effective, I managed to survive for 2:03. The best part is that song, so funny and expected ahah. In the end I was singing along ^^

The graphics could obviously be improved though. Also, I died the first time because it could not read the explanations fast enough, it would be better if it was explained *before* the game really starts, or in a way that requires to read less text.

But overall, nice entry!

Loved the music! Fun stuff! Tutorial was a bit small and hard to read when the game started playing (you know, even though I worked hard on concentration on it :P). Great work!

Nice concept :-)

AWESOME soundtrack.
Some minor feedback:
Had to restart a few times since I kept accidently moving my mous over me and therefor (later I realised) 'Started the game' and got rid of the tutorial before I could read it.

Also, the screen turning black is a nice concept and matches well with the getting more in focus, but had the unfortunate side effect that I could no longer enjoy the beautifull graphics you were throwing at me :D

Overall great job!

Suprisingly fun in its simplicity, I realised after a while that it was much more enjoyable to just hold down the mouse button instead of klicking, much more smooot, maybe should follow the mouse pointer att all times without the need to strain your finger by holding? So you can focus on relaxing and breathing :)

I was enlightened! 😇

Game has simple, but still a bit tricky mechanics and the funniest (and most catchy) song I encountered on the LD48! I guess we managed to stay alive for quite a long time, over 3 minutes. I probably could've made better, but I failed to notice when I actually stop making money
Great experience, thank you so much @stanov! You managed to create a fun game over such a short time!

P.S. thanks again for the link to your stream, we actually watched it!

Love the song. The game is overall simple and fun. Perhaps a bit too difficult to survive for very long. But overall a good compo game.

Great game! I loved the music, and found the whole experience to be very engaging as a result. I almost made it to 5 minutes. Thought I would live forever for a while but then it got really intense!

I loved how the field of view (and the music?) scaled with your level of focus. It made it much harder to stay alive, but I wanted to stay all the way in the zone as long as I could!

Really good job!

Liked the idea and music and dude's poses! At first I was confused because headphones don't show what to press to buy it (after a while I deduced it from neighbour items). Then I could stay in the game longer and made a lot of money in the full dark. However in the meantime the world has changed, and I've realized I was getting attacked by a lot of weird things. :'D Then I spent all the money on new protections to no avail...

Although I'm not a fan of casual games, I think it can find its audience after redoing the art and adding some more polish. :)

Hahaha, this game's great! Loved the music and the stick figure graphics. I liked how the vocals and the light dimmed as the focus increased. Overall a simple and fun game

For a game 'withouth' graphics, it was really fun and engaging.

One point of improvement is that when you have a high focus, you can't see anything else of the game. That was initially a cool effect, but at some point, you can't see what's comming at you. Maybe make the effect vaguely transparent?

The ingame tutorial diissapeared before I had completely read it, so I had to restart the game to read the rest.

The music was a nice touch.

Nice working song lol. Got all the way to 9x focus before all the stuff started coming faster than I could buy things. Overall, a fun little game.

That song fits really well and is very funny. Learning the gameplay went through several very fun stages, and I really enjoyed this entry. My eventual record was 4 minutes and 7 seconds!

Fun little game, tried to figure out the optimal strategy and I think the best way to progress was to not move the mouse at all (just keep the guy working) and try to time the purchases properly. I got something like 4:30-4:40 with this strategy, but I was never able to achieve 10x even though my mouse didn't leave the guy for that long. Is it even possible? :stuck_out_tongue: Either way the song is nice and adds a lot of personality to the game, without it I think it wouldn't have been as charming. I think it could be more clear when the distractions "take damage" and how much attention they need, etc. And perhaps that attention cost should be made a bit smaller, since I couldn't really justify losing all that focus over just buying my way out of it instead.

I guess you know this but you deserve a medal for the song :) Absolutely brilliant use of voice in a game jam. The gameplay is original. I enjoyed it until the "wives" started showing up. Didn't know what to do then, but I may be bad at the game.

I thought this game was kind of silly when I started it but I ended up rating it 4.5 just about across the board, so I guess it was actually amazing, haha. It was fun figuring out strategy over multiple plays. I, too, decided that the optimal strategy was to never stop working and rely solely on upgrades for defense (given that money has no other purpose), which seems a little odd but I guess it's realistic. The focus effect was immersive but I was a little disappointed that it meant I couldn't appreciate the art or the music while I was doing well.

I'm totally downloading this music for later.

@qfeys You can move your focus, it gives a bit of light around it. You cannot focus on work when you are looking around :-)

What a funny game haha. I really liked the music. The graphics are simple but functional, just like the gameplay. It is a game with a fun proposal, and everything works well. Congratulations.
