Very intuitive controls! Would work great on mobile. Some more visual feedback on actions would be nice, but overall great work!

really nice pixel art animation at the beginning and a cool atmosphere and concept but the collision detection seemed a bit wonky

Great work, this was a neat play, I was excited to get to the bottom! I liked the art! Not sure what the bubbles/plastic bags/enemies do but I see some really neat potential!

Really liked the art for the cutscenes at the beginning and the end. Very detailed and atmospheric, setting an excellently dreary mood. The gameplay was pretty simplistic, but the twist at the end was nice. Good work!

This game would greatly benefit from an increase in speed of the player. The pace of the game felt a little slow and I think would have been a smoother experience if it was faster. I liked the dialogue a lot.

thanks guys!!
You can see bubbles/plastic bags/enemies events in rules, but I guess better to add more visual feedback into gameplay (it was a discussion about it in team)

Great looking game! The intro cinematic was amazing as well. Gameplay was interesting - I like how you introduced all kinds of different hazards. The one critique I have is that the movement felt really slow. I think if you speed it up a bit it would be more comfortable to play. Nice work overall!

Neat graphics and lovely intro! I loved how the game ties in with the theme so nicely. Must say the ending was unexpected but so heartwarming in these desperate times! *heart*

The cutscene at the beginning was pretty smooth, I really liked it. I didn't see oxygen indicator or anything, though. Did I miss something? I also thought the crocodiles are pretty cute.

Really liked the grungy mood and setting that was being conveyed here, and the music adds the to mood. Game is really simple and short. I got confused with what I thought to be coins, was actually sprites for the plastic bag. Overall a nicely polished short game

@qyoneda hi! I'm glad you liked our game. We thought the oxygen indicator was quite excessive. And the time was pretty short also, so we made it that simple.
Thank you all for playing and commenting! :)

This was a fun little experience. I really dig the visual style of the guy and the city behind him.

I know you wrote that you purposely left out an oxygen indicator and at first I was torn as to weather that was a good idea or not, but actually I think you made the right choice.

Great stuff!

I like games as this one. Quick, simple, a story that makes you curious. The best part for me was the mysterious atmosphere and the visuals for the game. Good entry!

This is a super moody little game. The art was nice, especially at the city; but the music was a standout for me. It fit the tone and atmosphere of the art perfectly! A nice little story, too.

The controls were a little clunky, imo, but other than that, I have no real complaints - good job!

Love the art style on this, especially the little intro scene, got a really unique look to it. Music is really nice as well, fits perfectly. Controls could use tightening up, but honestly the 'chill arcade' style was a refreshing change of pace after playing so many Ludum games recently. Good job!

The pixel work and the music are really nice, the game is a bit short and lacks of a little challenge but you could easily build on this to make new levels and introduce mechanics etc. Good work altogether.

Cool little game. Graphics and music work nicely although the game itself is a bit simple and short. Loved the positive ending also, good job !

The idea / graphic and intro scene is sweet. Gameplay is solid but simple, not outstanding.

As musician I have to say:
Music fits but it could need some more variety and additional instruments. (mainly you are just repeating a few tones). Iam getting really bored after a while. Nothing I would play for a longer time, because of the lack of variation in the music.

Very, very nice. I'm realy loving it! ^_^

**Analysis...**

1 - Mechanics, Learning and Flow:
The mechanics are very simple in terms of possibilities, click on the screen where you want to swim (approximately) and do not click if you want to wait. Despite this simplicity, the game guarantees fluid gameplay.
Learning to play the basics is simple, however it lacks a little feedback as to how much oxygen you still have. With that more evident value, the feedback given through the collisions (which already exists) and the sound effects themselves will connect everything else.
The game difficulty is practically constant (not too difficult), despite the increase in elements there is not much increase in difficulty (I see no problem with that). Even an expansion of the game could mean that the character started to dive in several other places in search of things for other people and that could expand the game in content and mechanics.

2 - Graphics, Audio and Narrative:
The graphics were very beautiful in general (there is one or the other design that could have some texture treatment to make it more interesting, however it is very good for the event time).
The audio was also amazing, congratulations.
The narrative is simple and funny, in addition to having a finish that brings the feeling of hope in humanity and/or better days.
Note: I thought, initially, that it was a suicide scene, maybe the initial animation might take a while on the falling coin or something.

3 - Culture:
In the initial animation and in the final animation, very serious themes are explored about the human condition in a capitalist world (always with a tone of humor). I believe the game has the potential to be expanded by showing diverse cultures and realities (as well as exploring local myths and customs as well, maintaining the good humor and "fable" footprint that I believe it has).

4 - Monetization:
I suppose that in a properly extended and slightly polished version, the game can sell on Steam.

Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on stream! I played it yesterday. You can watch me play it here (at 13:33).

Unfortunately, my mic was off at the time, and I didn't realize it until someone in chat pointed it out later. So, here's my thoughts:

I played v1 instead of v1012, because I want to make sure I rate the game based on what you were able to do during the 72 hours of the jam. I haven't played v1012, so maybe you've already made changes that address some of my comments, but I would recommend that you add something to the description explaining the difference between the two versions. That's what I was looking for during the part of the video where I'm scrolling through the comments before playing the game.

The art in the opening scene is beautiful, but the text scrolled by much too quickly for me to read. During the gameplay, the animation is nice, but the smooth lines of the walls clash with the pixel art used for everything else. The gameplay is fine, though it would be nice to have some indicator of how much oxygen you have left. I mistook a plastic bag for an oxygen bubble at first, and I almost didn't realize my mistake because I couldn't see my oxygen level go down. I liked the ending, though I was a bit confused why the camera scrolls all the way down the river again after the last cutscene. I was kinda hoping all that scrolling would lead to a follow-up on what the crab was doing with the penny. Overall, though, I enjoyed it.
