Great game!
I love the idea, the art and how smooth the movement is. One of the best games I've played so far on Ludum Dare.

Okay, this is pretty great all around. I'm smitten with the audio and visuals. I'd love to see this expanded into an exploration through the chakra realms or something. Stunning work with an off the charts vibe.

Woaw, I never knew hom much I needed to play a "Pixel Art Racing Endless Runner About Meditation" type of game before this.

That's a really impressive, beautiful and fun game. Congratulations, that's one hell of an entry, my favourite so far !

Honestly the games pretty sick. Controls were satisfying and using alternating inputs for acceleration was a cool idea. The dudes sound effects were really charming as well. Class game.

HAhaha I wonder if the monk did not take some strange subtance before meditate. The game is very fun and i love the graphics, i find it crazy that you make a game in 3D but with 2D graphics. The control is a bit to sensible when we take boost speed, but well done !

Really interesting game. The graphics are great and the idea is both "out there" and intriguing. The music is super chill but is counterbalanced by the gameplay which is surprisingly tense. The "omm" voice line in the title screen scared the crap out of me  Super unique game. Great job!

Really fun, unexpected take on the theme, and gorgeous looking. I kinda expected the breathing in and out to be sort of a rhythm thing though - having too hold each for so long didn't really work too well for me. Great game overall though!

A meditation game? There needs to be more of these! Also it's a racing game! It blew me away with all of the sprites flying toward me so fast! It felt like I was playing Mario Kart on the SNES again! I heartily recommend!

Great game! Fun take on the theme and a pretty solid implementation with some nice audio and graphics. My only real complaint is that the controls were a bit slippery so it got tough when there were more of the negative mood clouds around. I'm pretty bad at racers so only managed subconscious depth 7 with 4265 mindfulness cultivated, but enjoyed it a lot. Good work!

I think this is one of the most beautiful games I've played so far. Graphics, music and atmosphere are top notch, and the gameplay seems boring on paper, but is HELLA FUN in practice! I had so much fun. I love how the game feels relaxing and humorous at the same time. The breathing mechanics are really cool and makes the "boring racing game genre" so much fun instead.

Love the artistic direction, and it's a pretty good interpretation of the theme :D.
Can I suggest a better feedback for the switch of breath state? Actually I had to look every second to watch what type of breathing I currently was, and so stop looking at the track :o!
Good job anyway!

Thank you so much!! nice one. A few too many dark obstacles, but apart from that VERY nice!

Imrovements:
* Sound loops, you can hear the restarting
* UI elements sometimes obstruct the sight

The mash up of racer with meditation guy and the breath in/out mechanic was interesting. It was a little hard to control the left/right movement of the guy and after a while it was hard to tell if I was doing laps or just on an endless road. If it was meant to be laps then I think the track needed more unique items on the sides so it was easier to tell. Very cool art and sound.

Fun little idea. I feel like space is a really awkward key to press while steering and I struggled to wrap my head around the coordination for it. I feel like S may have been a better more ergonomic solution.

Very intriguing game, it's like Mario Kart SNES meets my Headspace meditation app haha. I like you original take on the theme, the unique controls (having to use both W / Space in rhythm to keep accelerating), and the mix of pixel art and 3D! Good job!

that was weird and fun! Cool & unique interpretation of going deeper with a yogi meditation racing.. The graphics are very nice, the sound sets the appropriate mood and the meditation sfx, hilarious. The only thing i would say for a post jam improvement is the visual cue of [space] and [W] to be more distinguishable between the two.. you know something like a different color or something in order the player to understand it without reading. Other than that you've made an awesome entry guys that i've enjoyed playing, great job :)

Well this was probably the best interpretation of the theme so far lol. Good job on this. The pixel art was really great. Always a fan of billboarding. The colour pallete here was also really solid and pleasant to look at, good choice on that. The main game loop was cool but did get a little repetetive. Still, for what the game is, it's fun none the less. I suppose handling could be improved a little but otherwise, I don't really have any complaints. Really good job on this

I don't really like racing games, but that was a great idea. We wanted to make a meditation game too, but we didn't know how to make an interesting game out of it. You got it! Congratulations!
The art is wonderful and the ambient music too. The controls are very well balanced, so I didn't get very far. As I said: I don't like "racing" games because I play very badly.

Congratulations to the whole team!

What a great take on the theme - and what a fun game! Combining serene meditation with high-octane racing was a great idea, and it worked surprisingly well. It controlled nicely too, and having to breathe in and out added a nice bit of mechanical depth, although at first it was a little confusing what it did and when the breathing changed - I understood how to do it in the end though. The powerups and bad vibes also gave the game more depth, with you having to pick up or avoid them, though I would say it was hard to do that with the low turning speed, especially when boosting forwards through the subconscious. Some new obstacles or challenges could've helped the game as well, since most laps around the track felt and played the same, and the timer did last for quite a long time.

Art and graphics-wise, I thought it was brilliant. The colours worked really well together and made it easy to tell things apart on screen. The environment, too, was great - it really did feel surreal enough to be a dive into the mind. I loved the effects on-screen as well, like the speed lines, and the faint pink glowing at the edges. It added a good bit of visual flavour to the game, and made racing feel faster and more enjoyable. One nit-pick, though, is that the tree sprites were a little bit repetitive after a while, and the whole track didn't have that much visual variation, so something there might've been a good addition.

The music was nice and relaxing, perfect for a game like this, and the sound effects added a lot of charm as well. The sounds when the breathing mode switched were also a nice touch which made changing controls just that bit easier. My favourite was probably the little grumbles when you caught a negative thought, though - it just had a lot of personality.

Overall, I loved this game, and how it played, and how it looked - it was all around a brilliant entry, and so very good job on making it!

I love the graphics, and the use of the theme. It's very interesting, i didn't think about a race game with this theme but that's works very well, the mood is good ! But the character is difficult to control when he take speed, that a big constrast with a meditative experience. Great concept, need more adjustement i think !

The art is really beautiful and matches the zen vibe! Maybe it would have been cool to represent the movement vertically, to give a feeling of going "inwards" and not so much forward. Just a thought :) overall very nice!

This is alarmingly fun. ![20210507_210433_firefox_70799530.png](///raw/2a9/d3/z/42469.png)

I played this for way longer than I expected to.

My only wish is it had full controller support. I was able to steer with my left hand and press keys with my right so no big deal. I still thoroughly enjoyed this entry.

This was super cool! Like a strange spaced out take on F-Zero. Really great graphics.

There wasn't much feedback on when you were breathing in and out - I think some more effect there (both visual and gameplay) would've added a lot. It was also a bit long and I'd likely have wanted to halve the game time to 45 seconds and played it twice trying to get a better score, but perhaps I'm just not Zen enough!

Very beautiful game! The controls are bit hard to get used to: low acceleration and low steering make the game feel more stressful and less about meditation ;) Anyway, this was really fun!

I tried doing the breathing exercises my self while playing. It had mixed results, so I'm feeling a bit woozy as I write this.

I wish the breath in and out indicators would be a bit more distinct from each other, as it's hard to keep them appart when a lot of other things are happening on the screen. Prehapes the yogi could change color or have different animations for breathing in and out.
