DESCRIPTION:

Wagon Stack! was designed to be a hypercasual mobile game where you have to drop wagons on all the wagon stops you can find on the way. When you drop a Wagon, you become smaller and you can continue the level.

The game works on Android mobile phones 📱 but the PC version is smoother! 🖥️

Cool concept, I like the wagon dropping mechanic. Right now it feels a little slow paced - I think you could work on that by having the wagon speed up as you get to higher levels.

I.... was not expecting the carts to stack that high! Very amusing. I like how the sound adjusts based on the speed of the cart

This is a really nicely polished and complete entry. Nice music, the wagon movement looks nice, and I love that you added confetti when you pass the finish line. It's quite an achievement for 48 hours. I think it would be a good game for a young child, but doesn't offer much mechanical depth for someone like me. It's very obvious what the best strategy is and requires almost no effort to complete. I didn't once miss a wagon buffer, for example. The only thing I couldn't work out was how to get coins when they're lined up on adjacent rails. Solid jam entry nonetheless.

P.S. I don't think you should be distributing your game in a RAR file, it requires software that people don't necessarily have on their computer. Generally should try to make it as easy for people to play as possible.

music started clipping for me after level 3. other than that: simple, easy to pick up. tutorials done right.

I am impressed you got this much done in 72 hours. Adding some speed and different hazards would do wonders for this project.

Nicely polished entry! I wish the difficulty scaled a bit more, as it was difficult to keep playing after the 15 levels I tried without more being layered in, but everything here was very well put together. I loved the first level that had 10+ carts stacked. Great moment!

Genuinely enjoyed Wagon Stack. I endured until level 18 before giving up. Would've loved to see some added difficulty, that would really have made this game stand out. Thumbs up!

Nice little endless runner with a clever mechanic to drop your carts.
The gameplay is nice, but there is a cooldown for switching lanes that sometimes can feel a little bit too slow

got 1100 score and to lvl 9. I had fun playing it. Wish it was a little faster.
I dug the music and the overall wagons stack concept!

Too on-rails, 0/10. Jokes aside, that was a fun game. Never did figure out what the different colored carts did, probably nothing because this is a game jam. I can imagine taking the game further with different carts and pickups. Maybe a store to buy different powerups, carts, extra lives (although I never lost a life, don't know if that's a thing...). Different environments, mobile obstacles, you can take it in all kinds of directions. The music and sound effects were a nice touch, probably what kept me playing.

This game was fun enough, I thought the cart stacking was funny too. I think you could have made it more difficult, maybe by increasing the speed? That would have made it more fun/exciting too. Good work, and thanks for submitting!

Fun cocept with very satisfying sound effects, especially the click when a cart is dropped. Would have liked it even more if the game was a bit harder. All in all a very polished game, well done!

Had a fun time with this played through level 10. Decidedly a fun goofy premise, with a nice polish.

Well put together game! Good music, though I wish it scaled more with difficulty, seeing a huge pile of carts was well worth it! Good job!

I found the difficulty increasing too slowly, however it's a nice base for an addictive mobile game
