ps maybe check out my game? (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/into-the-depth)
i think if there was like maybe cracks on the tiles that were being broken?? because eating through the cheese seemed pretty sluggish and unresponsive :p and maybe if it could go faster
EDIT: Agreed with a previous comment that there could be more asteroids.

Best music so far tbh
May I ask, what program (or instrument, or DAW plugin) you used?
What goes well with cheese? Fish say you, well... feel free to check out the marvellous space dolphin @beebo-studios! :v:
I think it suffers a bit in the gameplay. At first the meteorites seemed impossible to dodge, as they were too fast compared to the digging speed. Then I figured out I could simply hide below the rocks, which made it extremely easy.
My suggestions are:
- Add an indicator to where the asteroid will fall so you have more time to react
- Maybe make the rocks just slow down the asteroids instead of destroying them so it's more challenging
- Make the powerups much more powerful so they are worth collecting (honestly they didn't seem to do anything at all)
Keep up the good work!
It's a bit too easy in my opinion but I had fun :)
It felt a bit too clunky to dig, the cool down between the digs is a bit too long for my taste.
It felt that getting hit is a bit too random/unavoidable.
It was nice to have a nice Mac Os build! THank you!
