Depar - LD48 by Cirdan
This was a game I made as an exploration of a scifi theme, as well as trying out a way to construct entities in code that allowed me to create a variety of things and interactions. It's a pretty short and simple game that's more about establishing a the setting and theme rather than creative gameplay.

It gets boring very quick, if you were to add some enemy ai and allow the player to shoot while moving, that would make the game much better.
Good Job!
I liked the graphics, the atmosphere felt nice. With just a little bit more polish, say some dialog options in the overworld and some enemies that actually shoot back in the dungeon, this would have been a self-contained little adventure!
We all know how it is though, time pressure during the Compo is brutal. I have to say though the game is strangely fun, and the gun has a satisfying sound effect. I feel this has potential for an entertaining post-LD version!
