Welp, I just found my favorite game of the jam so far. That last level was challenging! I really appreciated limiting piece types to force creative solutions. Very awesome.

Weirdly, this is the second "moles in love" game I have played today... did you collab with @voidfishing?

Had a game-breaking bug on the fourth level (the one with lava) where a piece would detach from the cursor, but remain semitransparent. Clicking "clear" does not return the piece to the inventory, so if it was necessary to clear the level, it becomes impossible.

Still, I enjoyed it a lot. Aside from that one bug, it's a well-made game.

I love the little cutscenes. And I feel like I learned something about moles...? The graphics are really cute too, and the backgrounds are pretty and feel stylistically cohesive.

Gameplay is pretty interesting as well, the limited pieces make it trickier than it seems at first glance!

Sometimes I wanted to remove a piece from the board and I couldn't figure out how to do that. I ended up just moving the pieces out of the way, but would have been nice to have the option to just remove stuff for organization purposes.

What a fun idea! The cutscenes seemed a little on the long side to me, but other than that the whole feeel is amazing! Very well polished for a jam game.

Congratulations on this game. I had a blast playing it. The story is just too funny and the graphics are well made. The puzzles are OK. No ground breaking new mechanic, but well executed. Levels 1-3 were really easy. Level 4 took me quite some time and I was about to call in unsolveable but I didn't give up. Your story hooked me so much, that I went the extra mile to collect all gifts.

I think I have to play it a second time to find out what happens when you don't get all gifts (or not enough gifts. I don't know if there is a threshold). Anyway, the final image was a little disturbing, but I was celebrating the stock image.

I think there could have been more puzzle elements compared to the text. Don't get me wrong, I loved the text, but I also love solving puzzles 😅 2 levels between texts would have felt a little bit better I would say. And maybe some special tunnel-pieces to spice up the game a little bit. Like a portal or so, which would add another dimension (pun intended) to your levels. But I guess that's not very realistic, but hey, they are having cellphones too, that work underground.

Also, a right click to remove a tunnel-piece would have been nice too, but there was enough space to move pieces around anyway. Just being nitpicky now 🙈

This game is hilarious with adorable art, fun puzzles, and a really clever concept! I love the attention to detail in the level design, especially the different settings, the dinosaurs, and the gifts. Awesome work!

Congratulations! I laughed, I struggled (especially the last one with 5 gifts!), I enjoyed the sound and all the visual universe, and the end. Very cool minigame!

Really nothing more to add, oh maybe, kind of frustrating have to "clear" all the board for a single piece, but that's the game I guess.

Anyway, really nice Jam entry!

Really liked the dialogue, and had to go back for both endings :) Like others have suggested, the main thing that stood out to me was wishing it had a way to remove a single piece from the board. That's minor though, since you can just use the rest of the board to stash things.

Cute story and solid mechanics! The placing of the tunnels felt a bit clunky at times and a way to remove a placed piece would have been nice but other than that, well done!

This was a great idea. All the dialogue was really great. The fact that you can choose how hard you want it to be by getting more or fewer gifts was great. For people who don't have time to figure out the puzzles they could still enjoy the story.
It would be nice if you could put pieces back without clearing everything.

Love this game, I enjoy the decision you made to add separate endings depending on what you manage to get, It would be great if there was a way to put tunnels back without clearing the entire route as the game is dependant on trial and error. Very humourful and lovely graphics.

What did I just play! In all of the best ways of course. Great humor and the game mechanics were fun for a change. Great job on the text messages and being able to scroll, and making it more difficult by making you focus more on elbows instead of straights. I don't know if there is anything I would change. I think it does what it set out to do really well.

One of the best games I’ve played so far solely due to the awesome humor and writing. There were so many good jokes and messages in the game I loved it. It was great to go after the for sure real mole with their stock image and just follow the story. The puzzles were cool, not ground breaking or anything but very enjoyable and took a bit of thought to get through them. Very nice job! Super high props to the writer!

Wonderful humor and writing! I'm glad I went back for both endings. The puzzle design was also very well done. I think it could use some quality of life improvements though. A delete or undo key would be wonderful. Also sense there's a set number of pieces hotkeys for the different pieces would be super nice.

Absolutely phenomenal. Humor was on point, art was beautiful, gameplay was fun. You guys knocked it out of the park. With some more levels, I'd buy a post-jam version of the game. Heck, as it is now I'd probably pay a few bucks for it.

Oops, I realized I never commented even though I played through already. The art is so adorable and the puzzles are well crafted. I see very few games with fully illustrated cutscenes-- not to mention really great humor too. My only suggestion would be to allow pieces to be put back, or a clear all button. But overall so much fun and polish, Great job!

This was really fantastic, wow! The mechanic was well-executed to keep me thinking about the paths with limited options, especially the up/down and left/right. The ending was amazing!

Oh my gosh this was so good and polished! The dialogue (especially the mole facts being shoved in the texts) really made me laugh and the art style is so cute <3
I love these types of puzzle games as it is but the addition of trying to collect all the gifts was a neat mechanic, I enjoyed it a lot, congrats!!

(and thanks to @harrison-dunn for tagging me in another mole romance game, I would've been v sad to miss it )

Hilarious writing, I loved every word :joy: :joy: :joy:

Besides that, sound and graphics (the stock images! XD) were great, the mechanic was simple but really well paced and trying to aim at finding the exit collecting all gifts posed a bit of a challenge. Needless to say, it was a very fitting take on the theme.

My only minor suggestion would be to highlight a bit more the exit tile. The arrow at times was too subtle to notice at first sight.

Amazing job, who knew mole romance could be so engaging

Really like the humor in this game! The art was really well-done/clever. The ending I got was hilarious. Love that there's multiple endings. I thought the puzzles were well designed and got progressively harder without being frustrating. Great job!
