Congratulations on your first jam and published game!
I played until 100 gold, you almost got me with those tight spots. ;)

Really fun game, and the sfx are satisfying. I got to 192 gold but then there was a wall of stone you couldn't get past, oh well 8)

Simple concept but good game, I reached 179 gold before being blocked by a wall of stone.
The graphics are quite good! Well done
I'm not too sure about the sound design. The sound of destroying block is a bit annoying.

A neat little game!

I liked being able to dig very fast getting all gold.

It would be nice if the speed increased with time, since currently it's quite easy to go on forever. Maybe have lava blocks that will hurt you a bit further down for an additional challenge.

Pretty fun and simple game. I can see myself playing this on the bus or something. It would be cool if you could do something with the gold like buy a skin or something.

Got to 229 before trying to see if I could fall through the bottom (you can  ).

Great little game, good job!

The sound design is very satifying :) The game kind of lack purpose but I gave myself the task to gather ALL the gold and it was quite fun. So I think it would have worked very well as a puzzle game where you must not let a single gold block pass trough.

Simple and fun game, well done

I unintentionally quit my first run because I wanted to pause with escape key, maybe you should add a confirmation ^^'

Нелегкая женская доля - копать золото. Меня в конце все-таки зажали злобные металлические кубики.
Спасибо за игру, так держать! ^_^

If had to download the Redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 to fix a "missing dll" error at the begining

Collecting every gold cube is a nice challenge to impose yourself, it creates interesting puzzle solving.
Also I love how a single guy with a jackhammer can blast away thousands of cubic meters of dirt.

This is cool! Despite the grid movement, it feels like the player is given a lot of control, and mining while in mid-air was satisfying. I did end up dying to an impossible situation, wherein every block on the horizontal axis was stone. Other than that, there is a lot of polish and this is an excellent entry :)

Nice job with the player controls. I also liked the post processing effects that you added. Nice!

The graphics are great, the sounds are decent. Classic game. Would be nice if there would be more blocks or leveling or something to keep playing.

Nice digging game with fun tactical element of avoiding to get stuck! Good audial feedback.

Some remarks:
1. Game lack of music. Expectation: game contains music to support the mood.
2. When you move left or right after digging down you go back on height before digging down. Expectation: you stay on height after digging down.

Good entry!

This game really caught my eye seeing as how you also decided to create your first game for LD48 same as me! The game is actually quite good, the sound effects are super crisp and the game controls super well! The only thing I have to say for it is it is pretty easy the way it is now, and could definitely use some more challenge to it, but other than that fantastic first game you have here!

Congratulations for your game, in the beginning the biggest pressure we suffer is from ourselves, over time we learned that a Jam is not just a game of the year, but in the evolution of the work, be it in the direction, organization, programming, etc. all this added to experiences and exchanges of feedbacks with the other participants, I hope I helped, keep studying and evolving, a big hug.

Pretty good for a first jam game! Simple, but I think this has potential to be a fun little time sink with a few additions. One thing that I would suggest to add is some kind of gradual difficulty curve. I got a score of around 187 and I didn't notice anything like a speed increase or more rocks being added. I think small changes like that over time would help to make the game more engaging for those that can manage to survive for a long while. Otherwise, this is a pretty solid entry. Keep at it!

Simple mecahnic but executed pretty nicely, the basic gameplay is fun and the visuals were pretty nice in a sort of minimalist way. Only problem was that the difficulty didn't seem to ramp up so I felt I could have easily gone on forever, i gave up after 348 and something. Could be easily fixed by just increasing teh scroll speed over time, or maybe not being able to go up a block at all, although that might feel a bit unfair if you get trapped in a pattern that you couldn't really see. Once I got the hang of it I could zip around with fast keyboarding and pretty much 100% all the available gold, so maybe limiting how fast you can move could also be an idea. With a bit of balancing would be a pretty good little mobile distraction game I think. Great effort for your first jam.
