made by vikaster for Ludum Dare 48 (JAM)

This is my first "official" Game Jam as a Game Designer/programmer. The game is obviously a 2d plateformer.

You are Bob, a blob in the middle of the Ocean, collecting garbage is for dust cleaners, You, are collecting pearls! But beware of the enemies (mostly Bio-hazard) that will try to Kill you most of the time.

Well, this was an experience. Are your own corpses supposed to be used as bridges (They have collision that you can interact with) or is it just an accident? If so, it would make for a neat idea, but it isn't clearly advertised that you're supposed to do that.

Cool first game :) I did find the collisions frustrating at times but it was a fun classic platformer

Great job for a first jam! The gameplay is still a bit rough, for a platformer ideally you have a lot of control over your character and can clearly tell how the platforms work. From the bit I played the character is sometimes hard to control and platforms are either unclear whether they are solid or are a bit buggy. I like the rainbow blob animation.

It's a bit chaotic but good job making your first jam game!

Congrats on your first Jam!

It would appear the bottom floor of the second screen did not have collison. I would also suggest to limit the game size window to something like 960x720 then tell itch to put a full screen button in your game. These options are avaible in "edit game" under the "embed options" group.

Oh my, it'S trippy. I love the jump animation that phase shift you outside of this world!

I don't like the collision system, it's hard to control the jump and not to hit the top of the screen, your previous dead bodies, stuck monsters!

Pretty cool for a first game, it wasnt really clear where I should go and what things I can stand on though. Maybe make some arrows or directions to show where the next part of the level is cus its not always clear. But for a first project and in 72 hours this is a pretty good achievement!

Very cool concept. Congrats on your first Jam.

Possibly choose different duller colors for the main character or add a warning to light sensitive folk that your main character is so colorful while moving around. Also, maybe fill in the color when he is jumping so one won't lose where he is going.

And were the dead versions of yourself supposed to still exist in the game afterdeath as platforms?

@vixenmink thank You for your comment. i think i forget to remove the dead versions... and then it became a concept xD i hope you didn't mind the "gap" between the plateform is big, and some players told me about bugs, i fixed them, but could'nt update the game on their website. i hope you don't mind playing the older version. but thanks for passing by ! Very cute game. Good job. I enjoyed it. I like the animation when he jumps, made me laugh. It's also nice to have quite a few lives to lose while you're getting the hang of things. Good death pic as well. I would perhaps look at audio with your next game jam, as well as putting an introduction screen or some kind of indication wrt controls.
Good job mate.
