[raw]
made by SciDev for Ludum Dare 48 (JAM)

Losttitlescreen.png

This is a more morbid Ludum Dare game but it is simple to understand. Use WASD to move, mouse to look, and press your mouse or E to advance dialogue boxes. How do you interpret the ramblings of the player?

There are 2 ENDINGS one happy and one utterly depressing.

Nice work! I got both endings even despite my bad sense of direction. XD Very easy to understand and play.

Really gets you into mood! Cool use of lighting
In technical aspect i'd say dialog sound is a little to high and loud. If you set your volume according to music, dialogs hit you in the ear haha

Dude, you game is awesome! The way you made it, a simple context, but still, a full project, congratulations!

Very interesting experience. I'm kinda a smooth brain so I'm not exactly the crowd for this type of game however this was enjoyable (I got the happy ending maybe its less enjoyable with the sad one) if thats the right word. The one major criticism I have is that on the darkest parts I found it a little difficult to actually see the area I was walking in (this is also possibly my monitors fault). You dynamic music was also very nice.

Great work, easy to understand and play. I like the effects you used, my only complaint would be the dialog sound, was a little loud.

The atmosphere in this game is top notch. Really unsettling and powerful. Made my hair stand up on end.
I'd cut some of the high frequencies out of the dialog sound, but other than that awesome job.

Good work, I got the death ending. I really like the color changes and story delivery. Totally moody. Great job!

Love what you've done with the perspective. Nice music too, maybe put a smoother dialog sound.

I like how the pitch and color changes, the dialogue sounds are a bit harsh.

I super liked the simple style of the graphics and the way the music changes pitch as you change levels. Super cool idea. I think the "ping" effect is a bit rough / harsh.

I was scared by an unexpected ping sound, i think he's too rude. The game fun, i like when go deep the music become slow, its cool. Good work!

It was hard to orient myself in the first few second because the walls and floor looked the same. Confusion only lasted a moment, but those are pretty important seconds where people are deciding if a game is for them or now.

That being said, as I play more I see the game is hugely about disorientation, so I'm not sure what to do about the above critique since I don't want to take away from that theme.

I liked the subtly changing lights of the halls, and the descent of the music into distortion was cool. The first time I saw the silhouettes was CLUTCH. I was like "What the HECK is that?"

This was simple, but hit hard. Well done. The ending made me happy in that achy way of earned happiness.

Nice game! I am a big fan of reversed music, also liked how it changed pitch when you got deeper. Agreed with others that the dialogue sound could have been a bit toned down. Got the good ending~ Nice game!

The music distortion as you go down stairs is really cool.

But the mouse movement is too fast, and I wish it supported arrow keys and didn't pause the game during dialogue
