Welcome to the Boombastic Fall!

The game consists of a multiplayer game where the objective is to reach the bottom first.

Use W,A,S,D to control left character and SPACE to drop a bomb. Use Arrow Keys to control right character and keypad-0 to drop a bomb.

You can find three power ups in boxes like:

-Power enchant: increases the reach of the bomb.

-Lightning keys: reverses the enemy's commands.

-Timeless Hourglass: temporarily stuns the enemy.

The player who achieves two victories first wins.

Due to technical problems it was not possible to add audio and sound effects until the jam deadline.

Really liked that it is a multiplayer game, had fun playing with my wife, with some adjustments to the explosion speed (I thought it was too slow), it can be a really good game.

I like how it's head-to-head. Honestly every multiplayer game should work in split-screen. Shame how game companies don't want to do that, it cuts back on the social aspect.

The art work is amazing and the gameplay is really fun! It could use some animations and sound.

Art is great, I had to play alone so it was not that much fun. I can see the fun when playing with another person. Unfortunately there was no music or sound effects.
Overall a very good entry!

I could only play it out singleplayer, but I like the concept a lot. The art is really nice, and making a local co-op game for LD is a really cool idea, well done!

Sadly I have no friends, but I definitely am a fan of co-op games. I love all the little aspects to this game, from the art to the gameplay, to the idea. Very nice submission!

Друг - это всегда хорошо! Особенно когда можно с ним наперегонки картошку копать. Ну или просто яму. Да еще не просто копать, а взрывать бомбами. Друг - это бомба!

The idea looks good for a game, but there is some missing HUD elements like life, and collected power ups, and some power ups looks a bit overpowered since you can win simply by going more deeper than the other player, so the power enchant will double your speed and then make an easy win.

I do not have a numpad 0, so I could not play as the right player. It's a cool idea, reminds me of bomberman.

Extra props for being a couch coop game! The lack of sound and 'boomish' feedback hurts but the gameplay is actually pretty fun if you wrangle up a second person.

Cool art and gameplay. Sound and animation is sorely missing, especially an explosion graphic.
Nice entry overall.
