Well put together. Very good level design.

The controls and the speed of both the player movement and projectiles required more precision than I enjoy... but I think that's more of a "I'm not the right audience for this game" than "This is bad".

Good game, but sometimes it feels uncomfortable because of controlling character with arrow keys and sometimes the cultist moving very fast, but i liked the art though

Very cool level design. It's remind me about Super Meat Boy and IWBTB. Control is too sensetive, but the game still playable. Nice one!

Wow at first the game seemed like a normal platformer. It was pretty hard not gonna lie but I decided to try and finish it. I managed to get to the end where that brain or thing was and after that it just made me replay the whole game while the screen was shaking and all of the blocks had a brain texture. This was so weird and creepy. I clearly did not expect that ending. Also after I finished the game the second time the game just closed. This is a real horror game not gonna lie lol.! Anyways really cool and weird game. Great job !![DescendCapture.PNG](///raw/9b5/93/z/405e2.png)

Hey, great game! I agree with others, controls are a little too snappy, but still very good! I got stuck at the first triple jump area, I just couldn't make it up. But a really enjoyable little game!

As a note, it ran on linux using wine just fine!

I think the snap to the jump refreshing balls is a bit much, but yeah, otherwise pretty cool

Good stuff
2d platformer - what software did u use to make it?
It works well well done
the controls are a bit twitchy I'd argue - though responsive
not gonna lie I gave up at that part with the gun on the right and 4 rows of 3 spikes and the littke platforms in-between like NOPE ^^#
also I made a gamr called "Descent" in a game jam a while back - that made me giggle :) - https://benjaminrobcis.itch.io/descent

I'd argue the checkpoints look too similar to the spikes - counter-intuitive at first
you gotta running game gg - I suggest you focus on juicing it up these controls for next time
curious to see what u'll come up with in 6 months - tc :)

Controls were pretty tight and reliable once I got used to how twitchy they felt at first. Only real complaint is with the double-jumpy things, the fact that you'd immediately fall through them made them kinda hard to use, had to just spam the jump button rather than actually time it. Other than that, great game. Also, the window vibrating in the second run was a really cool touch. Well done :)
