This just has .jar files. How do I run these? Do I need java to play?

Very interesting idea and take on the theme. Sadly, the original graphics make it a tad hard to play...

Love the old style C64 graphics and the car reminds me of Outrun or JaguarXJ220 however the difficulty ramp was a bit to high and could only get passed the first few corners before i crashed. I think with a slower speed ramp this game would be really fun.

I like those retro aesthetics. The inputs are scancode-based which is appreciated. A score display would be a nice addition.

Love this, I reeally dig the style of the game, + props for a good car choice :D It was a tad difficult though, but I didn't mind - I had a blast

The old school graphics and playstyle were nice, points off for using pre-existing assets, though.

I would have liked to be able to see more blocks ahead of me, those sharp turns were difficult. I couldn't beat the game, in fact :slight_frown: Maybe a difficulty setting relating to speed/view distance would work?

It was a refreshing experience, though. I liked it! Hope to see you in LD49, cheers.

Loved the graphics. 3D but not. And it was fun to get in the zone. I really got a sense of speed :red_car:
