Not bad at all. Music was a bit tedious. Took a couple hits before I realized that black fish is bad.

Great work! It would have been nice to have a final score pop up when you die, but solid job. Happy LD48.

Took me a couple tries to realize that I could catch some fish for more score, but still a pretty good game, fit the theme well

that was fun! the lack of friction and high stakes of the one hit kill sharks kept it interesting. i enjoyed being greedy and trying to slip between deadly sharks to grab treasure chests. the graphics were nice, i appreciated that things were animated.

I like that his animation kinda looks like he is stuggling a bit haha! The motion felt like you were underwater which was great.

I enjoyed the driver's design and the speed at which the game let me drop. I would've liked an end screen to see my final score considering my eyes always look towards the bottom of the screen.

the music started to hurt me a little, and i think it could use an increase in difficulty as you go further down. overall pretty fun though! my best was 1500

Simplicity is the key sometimes, fun little game.
I personally was missing another rating / challenge (like depth reached) as well as a score display.
also you can hide the character behind the dark blueish sides

The sharks could use some emphasis. Good balance on the animation and non-animation.

Heyo, congrats on your first game! Really well done overall, although for pixel art you usually set the filter mode to "Point" in the texture import settings. The music could've been a bit longer, and an end screen would be a nice touch, but otherwise, a really nice game! Good job!

I liked the character animation, he looked like he was having a good time. I went up instead of down initially and never ran into anything. Would have been interesting to have something different/interesting up there.

The music was nice for the setting. The other sounds were pleasing to the ear, I liked the feedback each time I collected something of value. Only wish was for a score display at the end of the round. Well done, fun game.

Nice simple game. I didn't first know what fishes are bad so I just evaded everything until I accidentally caught a fish

Animations were ok, I liked that there were details like little jellyfish.
I would have liked to see some kind of end screen that would show your end stats like score and depth and maybe also show how many fish you've caught.

Good first gamejam entry!
