@limonado Thanks for trying! I ran into that too on the build but not in the editor, not sure what is happening. I added in a new floor to help and pushed out the build so hopefully it is fixed.

I really liked the graphics, atmosphere, and mood of the game! It was fun to place down a lot of turrets that would fire at the incoming asteroids. One thing that I found a little strange was getting game over when I ran out of material, I would expect the game over to occur moreso when I have been hit by too much rubble.

Cool idea, but at first time it's hard to figure out what to do. Good luck!

I did not understand everything that happened but it was relaxing and fun

A few more hints would be nice, I especially did not understand how to get rare items, I got one but I don't know how and why I wasn't able to build in the middle of my ship.

Allowing the player to destroy his buildings would be a nice addition in my opinion: when running out of materials, destroying a few turrets to build a container to gain 20 and reduce the fire consumption would add some depth to the gameplay

With that said, I really love the graphic style and the music of the game and the mood is great too

@vivien-fargette Excellent points! I didnt even think of being able to destroy, thats a good idea! Just shooting the rares gets the rares :D

Pretty cool aesthetic. The portal looked really cool, and all the rare collectibles were a nice touch. I wish that there had been a little more depth to the gameplay, as I felt that I was just sitting by my turrets repairing them constantly. It would also be nice if the gameplay progressed a little faster. I got to 5.34 and died, and didn't really want to play through the whole thing again to get a win.

Looks amazing and the game is fun. I fount the placing using the same key a bit difficult and would love the objects to be built with a dedicated key maybe.

Fun tower defense game, it's a neat take on it and definitely fits the theme. Building can be scuffed at times, however.

@boxedmeatrevolution Totally agree! as with tower defense sometimes you are just chilln wait'n to dive in, but also I wanted to implement upgrading but didnt want to risk the bugs being close to the end of time.

@vimlark Thanks!! Hopefully you'll get some rares next time

@billnotic Thanks for playn!

Really amazing graphics! I wish there was sound! I'd recommend implementing some mouse controls because it was a bit tricky to build stuff in the right positions with the current controls. Awesome work!

Great concept, and looks great!

I had a hard time getting a handle on the strategy of it, but I see this as a lovely proof of concept. Also, it has a robot in it so it gets extra points just for that!

It's an impressive game for a game jam! It can be a bit clunky at times but I had a nice time playing it :)

This was cool! I really liked the robot character, and his animations were pretty good. Same with the turrets. The camera moving up to look ahead was kind of nifty but I might have preferred it to be assigned to a button press rather than auto-creeping up when I was repairing front-line turrets and/or floor tiles. Still, very impressive. I liked the music and sound effects, too :)

Got to layer 4 / depth 28 ish, not sure if thats a good score or not but it was fun! I enjoyed watching my army of turrets shoot at weird floating space cows haha. The transition into the anomaly was really well done, as was the in-anomaly effects :) Well done!

Very cool game. I especially liked the warp tunnel effect you came up with. It got pretty hectic the more you progressed deeper and deeper into space and the rocks relentlessly keep coming and taking out all of my stuff! Argh! Well done and thanks for sharing! :bird: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=5h52m3s

I enjoyed the game, but it took me quite a while to understand what I was doing. There's a lack of feedback when repairing and it can sometimes be hard to tell what section of the ship is actually damaged.

A nice entry! Obviously there are some things you wanted to do to push it further with upgrades and such, but, still, good job for getting what you did done in the short time frame!
