Nice job! I found myself wishing that progression were a liiittle bit faster, though.

Progression was a bit slow. Felt like I was spending most of my time going back down where I came from. The art is very well done and the sound effects were nice.

The eyes!! The game was fun but a bit slow. Also at first the shop system wasn't very clear, but after I figured it out it made sense, maybe say somewhere how it works.

I felt it was a bit too slow, but its a really solid loop. The whole design felt so elemental. I really enjoyed it!

great entry! The graphics and audio and theme were executed very well. I found the digging to be very fun but the having to go back after running out of fuel to be tedious. If you expand past the jam I would focus on following the fun of digging :)

I will echo what @tengusheath said. The progression was slow, a little too slow. The visuals are on point though, very beautiful and polished looking game!

Nailed the theme. Great game. Couldn't find my first gem in like 5 minutes of play, even "following the red light". That's a little too long for the payoff, maybe? Had fun, though.

The sound effects are really excellent, pumped to do some digging.

Great job with the art direction on this game! It looks and feels very slick!

Really polished and the ending is great. I think having gold that nets more the lower you go would of made things a bit smoother overall. But great game, especially for the timeframe

Your gameplay loop is extremely fun, this is the game I've played the longest so far - got 3 gems in!
With that being said, maybe I'd make it shorter for a Jam game, or at least let players progress faster

Agree with what others have said, it's a tiny bit slow. Great game otherwise!

Hexagonal digging just seems to make sense, and I found myself wondering why I hadn't see more like it. Love the art and audio too!

I had a lot of fun with this one. I do think that the gold should scale with the depth though, as the upgrade cost scales exponentially in powers of 2. I found that primarily focusing heavily on speed (while putting very little gold into fuel) gave the fastest results, with only 2 points in vision being required.

I like that you can only go down on each step, it makes you consider what moves to make and plan for future runs (aim for gold you missed, etc.). I didn't see much of a speed up on gold gain, that made the middle part of the game slow down some...

(Also, that ending!)

Fun one. I wish there was a bit more lore at the end. Seemed to end pretty fast after all the digging.

I really like the art and animations. Even the small things like drill rotation or ground destruction put a lot of life into the game. The gameplay looks very smooth, and the UI panel on the right is very clear and enjoyable to watch. Good game!

I love the game, but the game was slower than most. But, the gameplay was fun, the audio was great, and the visuals were great.

What a great game, extremely atmospheric. I'll echo the bits about it being a bit slow at first, but with enough upgrades it was nice. The ending was.... something. Great game. I do wish there were different mechanics as you went down, I was hoping the eyes were enemies or something.
