You are the ugliest fish. You never knew this until you found a mirror in a shipwreck. Your quest is to journey to the bottom of the ocean where sunlight does not reach, and live out your days as an ugly fish. OR, maybe you will find out the real meaning of beauty and self-confidence, and find that the real treasure is the friends you make along the way...

Well, I ended up only having about 8 hours to work on this, so my plans for an epic quest of self-discovery is just a tiny swimming simulator. So this isn't a complete game, but I hope you enjoy swimming around anyway!

Even though the game isn't finished, I hope you can continue it in the future!! I definitely swam around for a while to enjoy the delicious graphics (the fish SUPER adorable!) and the yummy audio my ears were SO blessed <3 The atmosphere and the lighting were also equally beautiful!!!

Loved the art! All the fish looked so good, and I really liked the subtle god-ray effect on the edges of the swimmable area when you get near.

I agree with everyone else, the art is really good! Wish there was a game to play but nonetheless the art is great and I had a fun time swimming. Great job!

The art is amazing its actually a cute "ugly" fish :p. Even if not finished you made something with a great atmosphere.

I really dug the chill atmosphere of this game, and the art was beautiful, despite the "ugly" fish ;) Your original premise sounds really promising, and I hope you keep building on this because I'd love to play the finished product.

The art was quite good! Although, my computer didn't like it very much lol, it was a bit laggy for some reason. I'm impressed you managed to do this in 8 hours!

Great audio and visuals. The fish should point in the direction of my input, not his velocity. But I'm nit picking for something so well done in so little time. Good job!

You made a good foundation for a game. The swimming mechanics work well enough to convey that you're underwater and not just flying across the screen, and the atmosphere is really great.

All it needs now is some ugly fish on fish action

Dang now I wish you had more than 8 hours for this. Loving the game so far from art to music. It all works really well together. Hope you expand on this later

It's a shame you only had 8 hours to work on this. I would've loved to see what you could've done if you had more time. That being said, the controls feel really nice, the sprites are super charming, and the lighting effect works really well.

I was trying to find the bottom then I read that it was not completed. No problem.
I enjoyed the art and ambience. Please expand it.
