Hey hey!

What a weekend ;) While i didnt finish some core mechanics, i learned some basics about Blender, game development in general and i am happy about that. The game is more like a prototype, but pls let me know if u think the concept could work.

And pls leave a comment so i can rate ur crazy games )

I liked the concept a lot. One thing is I thought it was difficult to tell which row the bullets were coming through on. Nice synths btw

Man, I would have loved to see this more fleshed out. I'm sure you know the game is very, very short, which is a shame. If it was much more obvious which row the projectiles were coming from and the movement between tiles was snappy enough, I can 100% see this being a really fun game; dodging an onslaught of projectiles coming down each row with precise movements between tiles. I hope you work on this more, it has potential!

love the concept of moving the player in a way that you and the captain dont get hit. I feel like a lot could be done with this idea with more time!

I liked the diorama like environment perspective along with the sprite art used on a 3D background. It's a cool idea- there's something to a 3D grid avoidance game where you need to worry about the captain along with yourself. Short, but makes a neat impression!

@vknauss, @peculiarcarrot, @blondeman, @brandon-orden Thx for these kind comments!! I was not very satisfied with my entry, cause its far away from being in a finished state. But u cool people gave me some motivation to maybe finish it and then repost it ;) I just played and voted ur games and it always surprises me how diverse most of the entries are (like digging for pizza ingredients) XD

(Psst, write on this page that you have web build there too, almost skipped this one because thought I have to download project file)

Idea is not bad, there just is not yet much to do. Depth perception is bit off, lasers should extend to floor tile they are on. Also I killed captain but still saved him.

Very short. I like the 3D pixel sprites.

Interesting concept of guarding! Nice graphics style.

Some remarks:
1. Sometimes it is hard to determine on which line The Captain and beams are. Expectation: shadows or other landmarks can be used to determine distance to the objects.
2. Game is pretty short. Expectation: game contains more levels and variability.
3. You can win after loosing The Captain. Expectation: game restarts after loosing The Captain.

Nice entry!

I love the pixel art in 3D space! (As you can probably tell from my previous submission ;))
Nice colour palette too.
The combination of grid-based movement with real-time obstacles is fresh.
