This game is actually way too good. Terraria stand aside.

jumping is a bit finicky but I was really in the flow of digging and picking up coins. When it starts to be really deep I like how over the top the number of bug become.

I'm really liking the physics aspect of this with coins and the explosions bouncing around. I think some reweighting of the item purchases and powers would be good (for example I felt the pickaxe was still pretty strong compared to the bomb because the bomb was slower and ran out quickly). Lots of potential and it was fun to dig and collect the coins. Nice attention to detail like the coin sounds.

The fact that you put this together for the compo is amazing. I tried to make a similar game with level generation, but yours is fantastic! There were a few interesting bugs with the menus. If you left the shop before closing the menu, then you'd be stuck with the menu open. Also I had the item selection open and died which didn't spawn the respawn menu and I ended up being invisible and invincible.

Great game. I was hoping there would be potions I could buy but after falling into a pit full of monster I found out there was checkpoints. Well done

This game is fun and the concept can be expanded even further. Out of curiosity the first thing I did was climb to the roof. The map is horizontally unlimited? I must confess that the first thing I bought was the laser because why not haha

Wow, I played for waaaaay longer that I meant to. Really addictive! Are there any other items or monsters lower than the ones you first find? Getting stuck in the wall was the only annoying thing. I love the sound of bombing spiders in the morning. :bomb: :spider: Nice work!

Really well executed mechanics! The weapons needing replacement was a little annoying. A recharge system would have been more fun without all the menuing. Bombs were super fun!

It is quite good game, but something wrong with collision.

Had a lot of fun playing this! It took me a bit to realize that there was no need to go back to the surface for the shop. Player felt kind of sticky to the walls.

impressive that u had unlimited world generation, and the break and collecting of coins was very satisfying. i did feel like i hit a point where there wasnt much reason to continue, but i guess it was a longer wait to that point than most entries. honestly the weapons were kinda useless. if the enemies didnt collide with each other it wouldnt feel like there's impenetrable walls to get through.
maybe the background should look more like dirt / cave, not sky?
since there are only 5 items anyways, why not just have them at set places in the hot select wheel?? was very frustrating to have to go into your inventory to grab things every time you used up an item.

overall, i had fun :))

I really appreciate how you have varyied the coin sound effects when you pick up money. Less harsh for the ears which is always a plus in my book. Cool concept. I can't stop playing it. ALL OF THE MONEY's MINEEE

I'm so glad you made it so the mouse click can be held down instead of rapidly clicking! The movement seemed sticky around edges. It was hard to climb back out.
