Love the title (a bit like a Harlan Ellison short story title), the mood, and the music.

Super surreal and very strange in all the right ways. I was enjoying the dialogue between the barkeep(?) and ern(?), then I fell into an even deeper pit where a giant goblin(?) face(???) showed up and I cracked a giant egg at the bottom. After that it kind of seemed to drag, you repeat that stage over, I'm not sure if there's something else I'm supposed to be doing or if that's the game. As it was, a very cool if bewildering experience, which I am pretty sure was the goal.

What an entertaining experience. I had no idea what was going on. You are chained to an egg and are falling down a pit.

i was chained to an egg but unable to fall down a pit, for the egg lodged itself in the wall (twice)

Pretty fun! It would have felt a lot more fair if the framing was vertical - at the moment it feels a little luck based because I can't see what's ahead and plan my fall. But, because of this it did potentially do a good job of portraying the experience of being chained to an egg and falling down a pit, so...

It got very frustrating at the end and I wasn't able to finish it because I got my egg stuck in the wall.
But otherwise this is .... interesting .. and I think I like it...

It's a game where you are chained to an egg and are falling down a pit.
It's aestetic is really original, and trippy! Maybe a bit too frustrating in the last level but pretty fun overall!

Neat idea but stopped playing at the egg cracking part. Was simply just too difficult and not really much fun after 5-10 minutes of messing with it.

probably could have ended after the third face level, but this was super good imo. the third face level i felt like i beat by being clever and remembering where the tentacle roots were and being deliberate in my movement, but the final level felt like i just eventually got lucky. the atmosphere was crazy but cohesive. the music was super fun, and the the monochromatic color palette was a good choice. the mechanic of things grabbing you and pulling you back up only to themselves be thwarted by stationary obstacles was brilliant, it definitely made the game. i played all the way to the end. congrats on a great jam to the developers!

Ow man you made my day. This is so surreal. I love everything about it. The art, story, music, atmosphere. You guys got max votes! it started with the title and I was thinking : this must be one of the biggest titles out there. And then the story unfolded and I keep on spinning, barely taking note of the conversation. But some hints of words made all the right connections to some TV stuff and other places. The grapling character that tries to pull you up and then to navigate it to one of those cirle spinners. Boy it was a treat. I laughed out loud. I thought : oh i must die now .. nooooooo it kept going .. ah how nice then I can enjoy another thing and another. Nightmare man .. ah just avoided it. Then .. Do I start over? No it is another thing a giant 3d head. But then after playing 10 minutes with the head nothing more appear and I didn't want to end the experience. As a surreal artist I really, really dig this game and you inspired me to work on these kind of games instead of the 'normal' stuff. Most of our games (including mine) are really straightforward and I rarely see this kind of ART . :hearts: :hearts: Edit: After 20 minutes looping this happened: ![head_stuck.gif](///raw/029/2/z/41505.gif) well at least it fits the theme

This game is incredible, I stopped when three tentacle eyes started following me during the crack phase, but I didn't expect I would play so long without getting bored. Too bad it got so hard that it felt impossible to succeed in the end (mainly due to the very imprecise controls, which are not a fundamentally bad choice, except for the end part where it can be frustrating).
I loved that the tentacles are semi-helpful when trying to escape.
The face is... well it is what it is but it's beautiful, loved how it moved and felt alive.

The theme of this game is amazing and the feeling of wanting to push through all the clutter and stress inducing enemies works into that as well. This is a perfect example of games being art well done.

At first the gameplay seemed kind of random, with little time to react to threats when they appeared, but eventually I felt like I had control and was able to progress by trying instead of just luck, so that was great. The aesthetic and mood were excellent, as was the humor. I, too, got stuck in a wall after being frustrated on the third big egg level for a while.

Eventually, I was chained to an egg and stuck in the wall, tho:

But I mean, other than that the music and atmosphere is pretty amazing for such a simple game. Great job!

My thoughts while playing:
- Why do I have an egg?
- This must be what a pinball feels like
- These things shooting from the wall are annoying
- No, I take that back. The eyes with tentacles are annoying.
- (While being juggled by 3 eyes). What is the egg? Maybe _I'm the egg?!_

Great entry and wicked atmosphere!

It was an experience full of life, full of existence, full of humanity. Thank you. This is the proof that we have to value indie game designers. That is why I am here.

Wow... that was a weird experience, good job with that! You create a great atmosphere with the trippy graphics and environment. The physics are really interesting but I felt totally out of control most of the time. It wasn't clear what to do. I felt like level progress was just luck. The dialogue sequences were confusing. I could not figure out whether I was already playing. The egg was obscured by the text balloon and he table on the right (or whatever it is) glitched all the time. I had to wait for a long time for the dialogues to end. Is there a skip dialogue button?
