GUNDEMONIUM
(itch.io) Fallen angel with a gun.
CONTROLS
- Left and right arrow keys to move.
- Up arrow key to jump up through a broken floor.
- Down arrow key to break the floor, or jump down through a broken floor.
- Space key to shoot.
DETAILS AND TIPS
Gundemonium is a grid-based, real-time arcade shooter. You will have to turn around to move and shoot in that direction.
Moving into enemies will melee them and kill them, but they can do the same to you.
Enemies can jump through the broken floors you create. Enemies are created when you enter a new depth. However, some only reveal themselves once you cross that depth.
You have 10 seconds to enter the next depth. Your time remaining is indicated by your fallen angel wings.

I got two remarks:
- I had the feeling it was possible to grind the game, when I went completely to the left or right side. I only had to go down and then shoot instant to destroy the enemy. If you would block some parts to go through the floor, you could stop the grinding.
- When the enemy jumps down and when I shoot too early, I won’t hit them. Even though I should hit them.
Like other said, i think you can improve the clarity of the enemies falling's vulnerability, so we understand better when we can shoot them or if it's too early to shoot.
Once I was killed by a ghost.(if it's a bug).
I can only proceed successfully to the next floor if I manage to first "dig" down revealing where the enemies are, then turn to face them first before moving down, then quickly fire at them the moment I've moved down. It can get pretty impossible depending on where the enemies on the next floor are facing. Also enemies on the floors above that suddenly move toward me made it even harder.
And due to how the player character moves, it can be difficult to react to sudden enemy movements too. However, I think this game would be awesome if it's turn-based.
