That said, the gameplay is a bit too simple I think to make me want replay it over and over. I thought the speed boosts were obstacles at first (like blue nunchakus) and I was trying to avoid them; wich caused my first few tries to end very fast.
I think maybe if the overall speed of the game was faster, the difficulty could rely more on reflex instead of anticipation and it would better translate the "escape" mood.
Good entry, well done! :)
Really nice game for a game jam. Good Job!
I liked that different types of wood made the worm change speed and sound was great also. For a game made in a few days, it's pretty good, but overall would want some more variety in the gameplay.
The graphics were nice too, and I loved how the tree was textured and coloured - it was all nice and clear. The character designs looked unique as well, which was great. Some of the powerups did seem out of place though, like the dark blue speed powerups in the tree - what were they supposed to represent? The music was really good, though, and the sound effects added some feedback to the game - good on those. It was a good game, nice one!
Overall a great entry!
