Grow as deep as you can!

Place tiles to continue your system of roots, but be careful what kind of soil you extend into. Different types of soil will have different effects. Don't run out of tiles, or valid places to place them or it's game over!

Use the left mouse button to drag tiles, and click the green tick to confirm.

Use the middle mouse button to look around, and the mouse wheel to zoom in or out.

Cool idea! The controls for navigating are little clunky. The music and sounds are great.

Spent too much time on this game, figuring out the possibilities. Sometimes the arrow and tick does not appear.

Interesting concept for sure! It was tough to see the available tiles against the playfield, some more visual contrast would have helped.

Middle mouse to move is a bit iffy, but otherwise its nice, i do wish that growing into the sky actually did anything. Using tiles to build a plant is a good combination.

Really relaxing game, felt like making a puzzle, was there any way to recover lost tiles? I was trying to reach the bottom but the dark brown tiles just added tiles in the deck

Wow, liked it very much! And I "beat" it by growing max depth of 39 tiles)) Very well thought gameplay!
UI/UX is main issue, "hand" of tiles always overlay placed tiles. And i have a bug in HTML5 version when all the UI elements of placing tile are just gone for one specific tile.
But overall - great game!

Cool game! I liked the puzzle twist on a digging idea.

Really enjoyed it, maybe the tiles at the top that you can place could have a background panel as when you get deeper they blend into your root network and become hard to see.

I liked the Bandido-style tile-placement game mechanic with a theme to match Deeper and Deeper! Trying to reach loam while avoiding sand and concrete put an interesting strategic spin on it. There was some audio crackling on my end, and I wish there were more layers beyond the concrete (I got to the bottom but still had turns left). Overall a great idea and execution!

Pretty nice game, I had fun playing it. Though I always like tile placing games... ;-)
I agree with others in that your "hand" tiles overlap with what you already placed on the map, thus become difficult to read... Maybe placing them on an opaque background would have sufficed to improve readability? Or highliting them in some way?
Anyways, good job!

Very nice entry! Controls may feel a little stiff but the overall presentation is appealing.

Great idea. I liked the tile playing. Also loved the Logo bouncing at the beginning. I could see having the flower grow bigger, but understand the time constraints. Definitely could see this expanding out into a competing flowers board game. Trying to use your roots to force the other player into the concrete  Thanks for sharing!

Nice game. It reminds me of our entry, but from another angle. It definitely could use some improvements with the UI, but overall the idea is great. Some of my tiles were glitched out and stuck without the arrows on the field. Maybe that's why when I have reached zero tiles, the game won't notice me in any way. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to fix bugs and polish the game, as it seems very fun to play.

This is really fun! I like the strategy of bee-lining the best soil. Made it to level 38, which I _think_ means I won. Chill music too. I do agree with some others here that the middle-click control is a little awkward. Also, the "hand" of tiles is obscured/camouflaged a bit when over already placed roots.

Great entry overall!

Loved the music and the puzzle aspect of the game. Congratulations!
