I gotta say: WOW. So polished for only three days. Loved your game from the moment I saw the sick camera transitions on the main menu, you guys nailed it on all fronts.

The gameplay itself took me a sec to figure out (was my own fault), but was fun once I got the hang of it.

Awesome graphics - characters, environment art, lighting, everything! The menu transitions were amazing, felt like a real game. I played on a keyboard so the controls felt a bit challenging, and at one point the enemy got a bit stuck, but other than that it was such a fun experience and I'm really astonished by how polished everything was. :sparkles: Good job!

Hi, nice Game
I really like the art style but I had some troubles with the movement. My JoyPad Key (A) was not regocnized and had problems to controll it with the keyboard.

Mood,Audio and graphics where really great.

I'm playing on keyboard and when I try to bury skulls, they always just land next to the grave. Maybe I'm missing something?

But just from the impressions, I got... WOW, it's gorgeous.

As the other comments, this is the beautiful game I've seen for this jam. Menu, transitions are cool too. The controls are a bit buggy or I dont understand how to burry enemy. Great job so far.

We are sorry for any control bugs that may happen to you :'(

- For the controller, by relaunching the game to provide you with repairing this problem, we will still look on our side.

- For the keyboard, we actually used the A key for a command useful for development, we are correcting that for version 2.0 which will arrive soon *(as in the hours to come)*.

And indeed we have reversed the K and L key in the tutorial ^^

The game is really beautiful - the graphics, the lighting, the animations are all awesome. Very polished! And the music compliments it perfectly. Well done!

It controls a bit strange, and often it feels like you should be putting the skull/dirt at the square X, but you are putting it on square Y instead. It takes quite a bit to get used to and still feels wonky.

I also consistently met a bug when a one of the skulls on the level just bugs out. It just stands there, does not react to the player's presence, is impossible to interact with, impossible to kill and impossible to talk to . It happened to me quite consistently and every time made the level impossible to finish.

What kind of sorcery is this game? How can something this polished be made in 3 days? Stellar job! I love the small details, like the little onomatopeia that pop up. You can see that a lot of love, care, and insane talent went into this. Honestly 5/5.

Yeah, i'm not sure how to put them back into their graves unless i'm missing something too. Looks and sounds great thought!

Really cool, everything works, the game is complete, working mechanics, nice graphics, great lighting, you did a great job in 3 days that's awesome!

I got to the last level, but the last two skulls had a bug, one was following me from afar and when I got to hit it, it collided with the scenery, and the other couldn't be hit. So I could'nt finished the game. But it was really cool !

Good job here. Graphics are stylish. There is a great atmosphere helped by the music. I had some difficulty to play it, keyboard didn't answer correctly or maybe i miss something. Still a great idea, well done.

It was kinda hard (at least for me) to understand how to put down the skulls into the graves, and also the dirt placement management is kinda inaccurrate sometimes. Besides, the game is astonishingly beautiful for a jam, you guys have done an incredible work for sure !

The graphics are incredibly well done and the theme interpretation is neat! The controls themselves feel a bit clunky and I encountered some bugs, but I'm really impressed by the level of overall polish! Good work!

this game is sooooo beautiful, but the controls are soooo awful. oh man, the experience is sadly ruined as i bash on the keyboard trying to figure out how to play the game. maybe part of the problem was that my dude was partially walking though things and there seemed to be no reason where it dropped the dirt i picked up. I had to give you 5 stars for the artowk and sound, and i really thought the take on the theme was good too. but please, fix the controls. thanks for making this game.

Controlls are a bit hard to get, but kudos for implementing controller support!
Visuals are beautiful, well lit, animated and look really polished.
This feels like a game that could easily be turned into a full game, hope you keep it up!

Good work!

The game looks very very good, I like the style a lot! Gameplay is pretty simple, would love to see more features if you decide to make it a full game (and I think there is a potential for this game to become very successful)

How did you make that in three days?

Everything feels so polished, it's impressive!

I just had a bit of a hard time understanding controls and how the game works and all, but it's quite fun when you get it!

@sheinxy Thanks for your feedback!
If you really want to know how to comment on a fact, it's quite simple, an easy DA to produce and very short nights ^^
And I see that like a lot of people you have difficulties with the controls, could you tell us a little more?
Did you play the keyboard or the controller? Did you understand the tutorial or was it too vague?
Thank you in advance for your feedback!

@hozoku I played using a keyboard, the main thing that I struggled with regarding the controls was the digging mechanic, I just didn't understand how it worked, I think I kept trying to dig graves that were not diggable at the time?
🎤 Hozoku
29. Apr 2021 · 18:39 UTC
@sheinxy Thank you for your answer! We can normally only dig graves when there is a light effect that turns orange, we will look to make sure to have an effect only when the graves when they can be digged

Really cool art design! I appreciate especially the graveyard environment and the lighting, also the theme concept itself. But I can get really through game, the controls are a bit tricky.
But a good job overall!

nice visuals, love the concept ... I would have went with right and left click instead of K and L, but over all I enjoyed it

Hey, game is looking really cool, menu reminds me of medievil :D Sadly mouse and keyboard controls make gameplay a chore :C, Please just move the digging to right mouse button. The graphics are so cool along with the transisions.

Cool graphics and animations! Pleasant sound effects and music. Pretty interesting gameplay.

Some remarks:
1. Sometimes direction of hit unexpectedly changes, so you feel like you can miss. Expectation: you hit on in direction you are looking at.
2. Interaction is pretty hard: you frequently grab other things than you need and put things on other places than you need. Expectation: you grab things you are looking at and put them right in front of you.

Great entry!

Without words for the sounds, music and art, you did a great job, in relation to the game itself, the first stages are very monotonous, but from the third the game starts and gets more fun

Wow, this is such an impressive entry. This plays, feels, sounds and looks incredibly polished for something made in 3 days. I also just liked the gameplay loop - it reminded me a tiny bit of a single player Overcooked, managing multiple ghosts and "ingredients" to make a nice, calm grave again. Very cool!

Very polished visuals and sounds! The gameplay itself could have some improvements, specially the interactions, where lots of times I grabbed something that didn't seem to be in front of me instead of the thing I actually wanted to pick up. Other than that this is a great 3 day project! Awesome job guys!

Well polished game. Visual, sounds and music are fantastic.

It took me some times to understand that I need to remove two blocks of dirts to be able to put the corpse under the ground.

It is a little boring at first but it get better with levels.

Good jobs !

Impressive! The game looks great and is a very solid entry overall. My only gripes would be the controls (K/L feels a bit unnatural to me) and perhaps the fact that it's hard to 'predict' where you will be dropping the soil/slapping the enemy. But those are minor polish/personal preferences. Great job in such a short time!

Very polished! Love the visuals and the soundscape! Gameplay is good, but targeting is sometimes a little fiddly, especially when you're farther towards the "back end" of the level. Maybe an over the shoulder camera (or even 1st person) would be a good option?

Great entry!

Looking amazing! Nice graphics and sound design! So I skipped tutorial and I was confusing the first time. I tried to replay the game again and started with tutorial. Okay, I got it! But I had some troubles with positioning of the avatar near by graves when I tryed to dig a pit and bury the stunned ghosts. I think it would be good if you coild add brighting frame around the cell with which my avatar interact. However it's great work!

loved everything about the game, the detection for when trying to drop a skull in the hole or put dirt on it was a bit off at times, but omg the sound the visual and everything else just make thoes little issues go away an amazing display of skill. Good job!

the art and music is amazing, super impressive. unfortunately i think the controls and the gameplay needed some attention. the controls were very difficult to use and the tutorial was unclear. some highlighting of what you were about to interact with or where you were about to place something wouldve been a good addition. attacking also felt kinda sluggish.
i like the idea, and these issues are certainly fixable. all in all, i think y'all did a good job!

I really liked the art and the audio. The intro animation was awesome, and I really liked all of the UI elements. The gameplay I think could have used some work. It wasn't the most interesting gameplay loop. But I think with some extra work there, it could be a really enjoyable game.

I want to play this, but I literally can't. The framerate is like 10 fps for me. Is it possible for a fix that makes it run on machines that don't have dedicated graphics cards? Thanks in advance!
