Cute little game)

I thought the timing bar mechanic for the corner kick was a bit punishing, but this was a really neat way of expressing the theme.

Hitboxes are unfair :c
Cool idea anyway, but dunno about relation to theme

Haha, crazy game. I was shocked in the moment when I had to shoot by typing on my keyboard, but it was fun.
I just don't get it how this game fits to the theme? Or maybe there is a "deeper message" xD.

@kro and @szymon-ogd haha thanks for playing. Yes I admit the theme is a little tenuous. The moment took place 'deep' into stoppage time i.e. right at the very end. As you go deeper and deeper into stoppage time, you need to score a goal. I could have made that more obvious with a clock to be honest :)

I would never expect to see football game on this jam... but here it is! I played similar game on web few years ago, I think it was called "new star soccer", nice memories with it.

I knew all the time I spent playing FFX and doing Tidus' overdrives would come in handy someday! Despite knowing almost nothing about football, I rather enjoyed this little experience! The timings are maybe a touch tight, but there's not all that much I'd change about it. I like the aesthetic of the game itself, but would maybe prefer a slightly more designed UI/text boxes. A minor nitpick, I know

I couldn't finish it haha. The green boxes are almost too difficult to hit, especially since you need to get 3 in a row. The type to score element was an unexpected twist that I enjoyed but the rest of the elements felt tooo fast-paced. I'd suggest slowing those elements down to make more players get to the end and receive the full experience

Nice one! For me, you nailed the difficulty. I felt like I won the Champions League myself as I scored the winning goal after Bayern Grey defended a never ending series of corners by our team!

One bug I noticed was, sometimes when you kept pressing A or D when avoiding the defenders and one got to you, the direction was locked in in the next attempt. So the player automatically went in the direction without me pressing the key.
