COMPO version here, post compo down there :

Play as a Drilling Robot on its way to the bottom of the world and avoid obstacles you will find on the way.
Left and Right keys move you around the tunnel and Left mouse allows you to drill through obstacles.

Currently going up to Stage 4 although the end is more me throwing every pattern at you rather than curating a good experience right now.

First of this has been the first Jam i've done in three years so it's good to see I'm not that rusty after all ^^
As per usual I don't present you a finished thing but hey, after a few technical hiccups I'm still very happy with the end result.
On the next step, this definitely needs a bit of refinement on the Level Design to make sure the pacing is correct between the opportunities and the depth as well as adding more environment. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do music for this sadly.
Software : - Unity - Substance Designer - Pyxel Edit - Blender!
I've also added a post compo version among the link make, sure you are rating based on the first one but don't hesitate to check out the complete version as well ^^.

Which includes :
Themed obstacles !

All 6 stages I had in mind with actual pacing!

It is too easy though, I think with the speed that the game has (before the speed up during infinite sequence at the end) it would be more fun without the hull concept and instant fail on collision. Now you just cruise through the levels without a real challenge.
As a small developper insight here's why it's like this right now :
- The difficulty hasn't really been tested, I didn't had time to both create patterns balance the different stages, with more stages I hoped I would have been able to ramp it correctly but yeah, time...
- Drilling actually had no use for 1.5d of development, I just loved it so much I didn't realize it served no purpose until the end ^^
- I added last minute a "No death" cheats for the curious on the "C" key ^^
Easy to pick up and understand - nice and polished and good take on the theme :thumbsup_tone1:
I hope you'll drop by mine and give it a spin
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Oh, and I see you've been doing post-LD development, if you're still doing that I'd also love to see more kinds of things you could run into, or potentially more actions to perform? Just something more to chew on so that the whole game isn't just the movement that I don't currently like :stuck_out_tongue: I feel like sounds would also do wonders for this game, if you get to it at some point!
