Fast paced as you go on, pretty fun. I enjoyed it.

Very addictive--I found myself playing way longer than I'd meant to!--and the challenge ramps up at a nice pace. The art is absolutely delightful too, and I really liked the pixelsplosions when you hit something.

Really really enjoyed this one, very well done!

The shooting feels really good, the death sounds are chunky and glorious. The game felt a bit impossible after restarting (there was like 40 enemies on screen or something) but if you had an upgrade system and some different environments, this would feel like a proper complete game. Very polished, very well done, excellent entry, very fun!

The impact of the shot overall felt great.
(1) Would've liked to see some sort of bullet trail / visualization.
(2) An ammo system and various weapons / firing rates could be an interesting addition.

Heaps of fun, fast paced duck-hunt like game. I love the style and chaos of it all

@purebe Thanks for the feedback! Thanks for letting me know about all the enemies after restarting. It's a bug. The spawnrate does not reset when restarting like it's supposed to. I will fix that soon and leave a note about the fix on the description.

@the-neon-shark Thank you. I like the idea of a trail. It would be nice to have a better idea where the player is shooting. Different weapons and ammo sounds interesting. I will consider that if I make a post jam version of the game.

That was fun! I love how spamming the mouse button essentially turns the rifle into a machine gun.

Darn those alligators, they're good.

It was fun, I liked the style, the explosion particles and the increase in difficulty. I think a shop would be great, to buy new guns, some upgrades maybe.

Another suggestion might be to slow down the spawn a bit, add some max ammo capacity, and randomly spawn ammo boxes to fill the ammo.

Great entry.

really nice game. the aesthetic was very nice and the mechanics felt smooth, one thing was that the raft blocked shits making it impossible to his some enemies but overall the game was good fun !!!!

Really Nice Game, it was very simple yet it still was a fun casual game. In the future an update with a shop were you can purchase appearance skins and skills with points would be a great addition. Also, I love the use of the sound and particle effect when you defeat an animal, especially the alligator very good use of feedback.

@patrickjr thanks for your fanstastic feedback on our game again. I have now implemented most of what you suggested. Give it another try if you have not already

I really liked your game. It was a lot of fun and I tried getting a new highscore for quite a while. I love the art and the audio. My biggest critisicm would be the difficulty curve. The game starts out easy, stays easy till ~25k points and then just seems to get very overwhelming very fast. I would increase the spawn rate more slowly after maybe 20k so that you can spend more time at the sweetspot where you can just about keep the enemies in check if you don't mess up, because that is where the game is the most fun.

@ausstein You are totally right. It does get too hard quickly. I should change the spawnrate as you suggested, having the rate change less as the game progresses. Thanks for trying out my game.

Good entry. As a general rule of thumb, you ALWAYS make the player's collider smaller than it actually is, since a couple of times a piranha looked like it almost hit me, yet it still did.

I've not read any of the comments so I write my review as a pure first experience.

The game was surprisingly intense.

Graphics are functional and clear. The effects give nice feedback and a feeling of success when killing the enemies. This is companied with clear and satisfying sound effects. Some polish is in as well with the camera shakes and the alligators signposting their arrival with particle effects.

I was missing one thing and that was autofire. It wasn't really healthy for my fingers to keep spamming the manual fire. Maybe the autofire could be unlocked by breaking a specific score? That way it wouldn't make the early game too easy.

Overall nice entry. Well done!

It's fun right out of the gate, no long intros or tutorials. I like that it got chaotic quickly. nice work

Well this is one addicting game! I was genually scared by the crocodile. I didn't expect anything to pop out of the water, just bellow me! It was great fun! The feedback on killing enemies was really pleasant, and I appreciate the guns don't sound the same with every shot. I'd really like to see more weapons and maybe a bullet reloading system, but I understand there is so much you can do in such a short amount of time.

Great job on that!

On a different note. This is my 100th game review in this LD. Yay!

Nice entry, simple graphics, maybe to implement better sound effects and a music it would help for the mood of the game! congrats
