This picture has been made by Mark Rademaker. The ship in the game is based in his design, but... well, is not exactly the same... you'll see... but at least it can shot, that's funnier than just move. It's all about marketing, you know :D

I'm a sucker for upgrade games and this one mixes a few good mechanics together with some nice clear visuals. I like it!

Deep space warp effect was cool.

@stewmega Thanks! It needs some balance (and more enemies, and audio... xD) but I enjoyed making it!

@mdotedot Thanks! It's very easy! I used this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hlCOUoc6aQ. It could be better with a glow and thiner material but I like the result too!

This was super fun, but it's too bad the Hull Repair doesn't work. It just takes your money but doesn't repair your hull. Also the weapon speed upgrades seem to do nothing as well.

I love the simple concept executed so well. I enjoyed exploring each sector. Thanks for sharing!

This is a fun concept game, although I didn't have any sound when I played it at all so far? I also didn't see my shields recharge, like, ever, but none of the enemies managed to hit my hull, either, so I never ran out of shields.

Reminds me a lot of FTL. Still, pretty well done entry and cute graphics!

@rubixnoob13 Thanks for your feedback! If you play well you'll start to get hit at 3 or 4 sector :P Shields have a delay before start recharging, but I check that it's to much, and always you received a shot taht restart it before it can beging his recharge :(. I have to make some fixes

Also, I had no time for audio, sorry :(

This is a solid entry. I had fun playing it. Gameplay is simple and easy to understand. There's lots of scope for player choice and in turn various tactics/play styles. Is there an ending? I feel like I got pretty far. I think I'll go have another try.

Good stuff :8ball:

@OddballDave Thanks for your feedback! There is not an ending now. I'd have liked to add some narrative with a ending, but I preferred to sleep xD

Interesting game. Warp jump effect is awesome!!
Maybe it needs some kind of start tutorial to help players to understand the way to play this game.

The game reminded me of FTL. I liked choosing my upgrades after each fight and making my way around the star map. It wasn't clear to me if I had any combat options while my ship was fighting the enemy ship, I mostly found myself watching and cheering my ship on. I hope that is the intended gameplay?

Interesting game with a good gameloop. Discovering the sector, beating enemies & finding shops before moving on to the next sector is a solid base.

Balance felt a bit off though, as game didn't seem difficult (went up to sector 30 before essentially giving up by stopping buying offense upgrades to focus only on pure shields & hyperdrive), I never managed to trigger hyperdrive (my mostly attack & flat shield build might not have helped with that) and the hull upgrades & repair were bugged.
Some of the upgrades were not obvious at first (ie. the shield recharges), and their consequences not always obvious in numerical terms (all the cooldown stuff). Additional info on the UI would be nice : A recharge bar for the shield, having a way to know the current attack speed, shield recharge rate & recharge amount, hyperdrive charge rate, etc...
On another point, i think it would be nice if the different areas in a sector were linked between each other, to reinforce the idea that you need to go to point A to have point B appear.

Enjoyed the core gameplay. The difficulty seemed to ramp up very suddenly around the 3rd level

Very interesting gameplay. But sometimes I feel my upgrade is too small to make a different. I tried twice, but
twice failed in the third level.

I enjoyed this game a lot! I opted to become a glass cannon, always picking damage, never picked hull  I made it to world 6. I actually never got to see what a warp drive was, even though I almost always picked warp drive cooldown reduction (after damage). I guess if I picked shields and restore instead the fights would've lasted longer and I would've seen it. But I really have no complaints about the game, it's all minor stuff like indicating better when your shields recharge and what it means to have shield cooldown and all that. Oh and audio would've been nice of course but I didn't have time for that either so I can't blame you :stuck_out_tongue:

@aprioriface @luthwyhn @youk Thanks for your feedback!

@candlesan Thanks! Yes, it's a kind of FTL meets idle game, but if I continued the game probably I would add some actions during combat :).

@vladadamm Thanks you so much for the complete feedback! I didn't try that play style!!! It's very interesting to know it! :).

@marcus-otterstrom Thanks for the feedback! Game needs some balance :) I would like to launch another version with audio, fixes and some of the improvements that you all had reported me as soon as I have a weekend for it :).
