The fails to load on itch for me. The JavaScript console says, "indexedDB database could not be opened", which has been happening no a lot of games, so maybe I need to do something with my browser? I use Brave.

This is really good game. I wasn't expecting it when I saw comments and begging of game. It's kind of slow at start, but I actually enjoyed it more than some of highest rated games of this jam. And graphics are also decent!

@mdotedot @lordmiji @dhim GameObject was forgotten to be enabled in the inspector.

@hutchings90 I had the same error once or twice but the game still worked (on firefox).
Disabled gzip compresion.

@exewin Thanks!

Ok nice, it works now!

I love the block breaking effect! the lights effects are nice too! quite heavy on the webgl version on my mac! THe pod is a beauty, what did you use to do your models and animation ?

The dig rythm is just nice, no to slow. It took me a while to understand if there was a game, as ore distribution is really sparse. But you have to go deeper and deeper.

The lack of explanation at first made me miss the E - menu. Now that I have all the element I will try an actual play session.

SO satisfying to perform a dig action! Great work with the timing, animation, and sound. Very fluid! I explored for a while, but I wish there were more enemies or interesting items around.

Cool little mining game. Not much to it and would definitely benefit to some more content IE more upgrades and maybe obstacles to run into. Otherwise Nice job this was a fun play.

I liked everything except how spread out or hard it is to find resources. At least, when you respawn, you keep your upgrades but i can't find anything shallower than 125m. Other than the resources, i loved it!

Great sound and graphics! It reminds me of Motherload by XGen Studios

The graphics and lighting are really cool! Sometimes it feels a little weird that you can dig diagonally and it took us a while for us to find any cargo. The fuel and cargo bars could contrast a little more.

The concept of the game is nice and having to balance the fuel adds something to it. You have to find a balance between following your urge to keep digging and going back to the surface. It seems when you go straight down you don't use fuel, which I suppose could be seen as both a good and a bad thing. Impressed by the visuals, though!

Fun game and great job!

Really liked the graphics and the animation of the drill, very well done. Gameplay wise I enjoyed the game. Spent a lot of time digging around until I managed to start finding some ore, but it was pretty obvious in the end that I should be digging down rather than side ways.
I think one potential improvement that I'd suggest would be maybe to either increase the ammount of ore that spawns, or add some mechanic that can help to player to locate ore such as a scanner or similar.
Overall though great job.

Fun game. Kind of addictive, good graphics. Sounds were a bit simplistic though. I enjoyed it

Good idea with the omnidirecitonal drill on wheels. It worked well. I like how this game looks. The drill's headlights had a nice effect. Finding stuff was a little too far in between for me. Well done!

Fun game. Good job with the visuals.
Not having to go back to the surface to refuel is a nice variation of this format.
Not finding anything at all until after 100m was a bit dull. There should be more stuff near the surface.
Victory was extremely anti-climactic. I got to around 1200m

Nice game! Really like the 3d effects. Took me awhile to figure out I could right-click for a menu though. Progression is a bit too slow, I think. Even though the gameplay is fun, I got tired of drilling well before nearing the winning $$$ amount. I'd recommend increasing the treasure/dirt ratio, and making higher value ores available a little closer up.

Overall though, Great work!

A very nice game! The 3D effects look great, and it runs very smoothly in the browser. I agree that the progression could be balanced a bit, to make it a bit less of a drag. That said, I was engaged enough that I kept looking for a treasure class beyond diamonds (it seems like there isn't one?), I went as deep as 2250 meters.

The fuel system seemed to be buggy in the beginning (it seemed to not deplete for long periods, then run out all of a sudden - and I seemed to be losing fuel inexplicably on the surface while selling cargo and reentering the shaft), but it was not an issue after the first tank upgrades.

I was happy to see that with the fully upgraded drill you could remove rock blocks, that would have been one of my improvement suggestions otherwise. To make an other suggestion, it would be great to selectively sell cargo - after a while, coal becomes very precious as a fuel source, and I did not want to sell it.

It was a bit annoying to find out in the end that you had music, but it was reserved for the post-victory celebration, after mining in silence for 20 minutes :D
