The shooting felt really smooth and responsive, well done.

Shooting felt really good, love all the juice added to this game!

Thank you both :)

The mechanics are heavily based off of one of my favorite gamedev talks, The Art of Screenshake
(youtu.be/AJdEqssNZ-U?t=442) which illustrates tricks to make a simple game feel tight and fun. Getting the shooting right was one of our biggest priorities, so I'm really glad you both enjoyed it!

I really felt in control with this game. The pixel art graphics are superior. You're going to do well with this entry.

Game looks awesomne, that art and sound are on point, the only critique I would have is the particles taking most of the screen when something explodes.

Besides that, great feedback while shooting, controls are very good, overall great and fun game. Congrats!

Really fun game! The twitchy enemies, fast paced soundtrack, explosion effects, shrieking angry lines of sight add up to a tense and humorous game!

Awesome job, it was very well polished with great music, sound effects, controls, character design and a easy to follow plot. Nicely done!

Loved it, juicy feedback, fun dialogue, and the music was bumpin! Gave me Hotline Miami vibes! The fake bartender is my favorite. Nice work!

Really nice game guys, congrats. The only thing that I think can be slightly improved is the player damage feedback, maybe with some sound? I'm aware that you have the sprite flashing but it took me some time to notice that and the enemy bullets are difficult to see. Anyway, a solid submission ;)

I like how the main sprite gyrates to the beat. The shooting has a nice responsive feel to it as well, and the vibration is a good touch. Reminds me a bit of Gungeon but with trying to exit a hotel. Good job, funny name!

Great fun! Would be great to turn some of the sound down hahaha My poor ears. Great art, and fantastic player movement. Had a blast!

Parody of Hotline Miami. It has a lot of content for a game jam entry. The enemies seemed to have a bit too much health in some cases, but very fun.

Its a fun game. Just a few tips: when the enemy dies, the sound effect ITS TOO LOUD, i almost got deaf. Other thing are the particles when they died, to many visual stuff. good game, congrats =)

Fun game. I really enjoyed the explosion effect after killing the enemies. Not quite sure what to take away from the ending, but It seems fish are good managers.

Really fun! And really juicy. Omg that screenshake! I also like how the chandeliers are animated and swaying. The enemies are quite tough, so I had to click a lot to get them. Would be nice if I can just hold down the mouse button to shoot continuously. And I like that the player character is a duck with a gun. I'd like to hear the duck quack furiously while shooting!

Great entry! Music was a little bit loud haha, but the game is rather polished, and the humor in this is fantastic! Thank you for this wonderful game :)

The game was fun and funny. I enjoyed the different enemies, and how the story trickled out. I want to know more about the not-bartender now. The shooting felt good, and I liked how it pushed enemies back. Great job!

Juice is really good but can get annoying like when killing large groups of bats the screnshake and death particles clutter the screen and make it hard to understand what’s happening/make me slightly nauseous. I would have loved to see friendly fire, I had tried standing in between the line up and fire type enemy so they’d shoot each other but to my dismay no cigar.

You nailed the controls and the gameplay. Made me think of Hotline Miami.

My only critique is that some sound effects are too loud (particulary the death sound).

Very fun game to play which is one of the first that I actually played all the way through. The controls feel really good, the art is nice and humourous, the enemies are unique, and I love the premise of the game. One thing however is that the screenshake is a bit too hard and the particles when you kill enemies is very big. All around though its a very well made game! :)

A little spam click heavy, but it was well made and had a fun little story. One of the more complete games I've played. I also enjoyed the fish very much.
