This was the most solid game I've played so far. One of my favourites and played the longest. Just simply all round really good job on this. Huge potential as a mobile game.

Very nice, smooth & polished ! I love the pastel colors and curvy blocks, it seems perfect to be played on phone <3

The music was a bit too repetitive for me (I liked it at the begining, but the loop is a bit too short), and oh, the canvas menu to pick bonuses is displayed under other ui elements that hide costs ! If you can change that :)

Wow, this one feels already pretty polished! One of my favorites so far as well. Overall experience was really good, controls and visual effects felt satisfying. Difficulty increased quite quickly but I didn't mind the challenge, it was fun to try again and again. Love the upgrade mechanic. Great job!

This game knows what it wants to do and does it well. Some feedback:
- The mechanic is so simple and so good. You nailed it!
- The upgrade system is simple and well done.
- Visuals + Controls + Audio are spot on.
- When breaching the upgrade barriers, I sometimes felt like I had no means of preparing for what's ahead. A small safety/blanking region would be nice there to make me feel less cheated after the upgrades.
- Had an ending that I was willing to play the game 4 times to reach (and clear progress indicator!). Good testament to the addictiveness!
- I would've loved to see some more variety in terrain and enemy types, but I understand the scope is limited intentionally.
- Sometimes the enemy placements felt unfair... so goes the world of randomized level generation though.

Such a great submission, if I had an issue with it, I'd say it'd be that the power upgrade makes the game considerably harder to play since you end up going too fast, which makes it an unappealling upgrade. Other than that, super polished, looks, plays and sounds lovely, great work!

Really well crafted, excellent presentation with a beautiful, minimalist style. It handles well and has a nice mix of familiar and original controls. Great job.

Wow super polished. Love the simple art style and the details like the drill rotating when you're traveling through rocks. Really interesting movement mechanics, only being able to turn while drilling. Really unique entry, awesome job!

The art style was very clean which was nice. I liked how the gems weren't a scoring mechanism as I originally expected, but actually served as currency for an upgrade between levels. I think one thing that could make it better is to somehow make it more clear what direction the position of your cursor will create (maybe an arrow pointing from the drill to the cursor or line connecting the drill and cursor). It was a lot of fun though!

Awesome game, awesome art style! It was a little annoying at first to not turn in mid-air, but once I got used to it, it felt awesome to set up cool tricks. The only grievance I have is that the gem collect sound is a little annoying. But I can't complain, since I suck at sounds :)

Wow, very cool entry, very well polished, fun, everything tied to the core, building a distinctive concept over a more known style of game (digging games), best of these that I played so far. Solely I could point out that (trying to give some feedback), even having a generally very clean look, the crystals didn't match the aesthetic and that it would have been cool to drastically change the colors in each layer, to give some change and visual progress to the game. Congratulations, awesome entry!

I love the music. The SFX are simple but work great. The art style is very charming!

What a wonderful game! Everything works super well together to make a great experience. My one complaint is that sometimes it felt like the upgrades were almost downgrades, as they made it more difficult to control. Still though, super awesome.

Amazing game! I enjoyed every aspect of it. The music is fantastic, makes me want to replay the game just to keep hearing it. The sound effects are soft and in the right volume. The player movement is so smooth, although when I reached far dephts the drill started gaining velocity and I suffered with a little bit o lag (probably due to be playing the game in browser). This is definitely something I would buy to play on my cellphone. Congrats!

Thank you so much everyone for your lovely feedback.

@ambeurk Yeah I agree, the music is not ideal for a loop, I did like the tone it had though

@the-neon-shark I totally agree, some variety would be great, I really should at least have changed the palette after each layer of the asteroid

@rusty-bailey That's an interesting idea about showing the direction of the drill, I'd have to think of a nice looking way to do that though, so it doesn't clash with the rest of the artstyle

@nisovin Actually no upgrade increase the speed but I think the language I used is a bit confusing, I'll take this into account if I decide to iterate this game

@villanelle The game is not very optimized, that might be causing the frame drops. It's a bit of shame but I'll be able to fix it if I decide to get this game out on mobile!

This game is great. I absolutely love the look. The abstract style works perfectly. The music is great and the sound effects are satisfying. The game controls really well and it's interesting being able to modify this throughout the game with upgrades. I thought it was clever having a very finite upgrade path and definite goal in a game like this, rather than being endless.

I found the enemy placement to be frustratingly random at times, but I didn't mind starting over and trying to be more careful about resource collection in the early game, which helps a lot. It can be pretty rough being out of control while falling, but I like that you need to try to plan--It's a double edged sword.

I really enjoyed the experience. Great work and thanks for sharing it.

whoa, I wasn't expecting to like this game as much as I did but I almost couldn't stop playing. there's something about the feeling of jumping around, controlling your momentum, and dodging badbois all to a really soothing soundtrack that was just ... incredibly addicting. did you make the music? i actually thought it looped really well, actually. definitely one of my favorite games from this LD. awesome job!

Going fast is more risky and fun, but it feels like you can get a lot more points if you go slow and try to hit the gems. Might be nice to have a reason to go fast, like a combo or speed bonus.

Really fun core mechanic!
