I loved the music but it seems like there is a problem with the looping (maybe there is some space at the beginning or the end of the music file).
I couldn't find out how to get the upgrades.
my question is, when can I throw my money on steam to buy this?
This is an interesting predicament I find myself in... I'm stuck under that sign... Anyways, great game. I love the art style and music for this game. Quite a creative idea as well! Great game i must say!
I only realized that controls are harder than what I expected. I would like to control to drill with mouse, maybe?
Hope you can continue this one after the jam, I would love to see this one as a full game!
really interesting mechanics and it's easy to pick up.
only issue is how quickly the lava comes.
it often ruined runs when at the shop.
For the controls during the drill, I think it is a bit strange that you have to keep down pressed even when you are going up, I would prefer to just use directional keys to give the direction where I want to go, and the drill stops when I stop pressing it. Or maybe point the direction with my cursor ? It would give a lot more precision to the drilling.
And congrats for the amazing pixel art !
Procedural generation lends itself to exploration, but time pressure is kinda antithetical to exploratory gameplay. My 2 cents anyway :)
The art in this was nicely done and the game felt overall really polished with the game mechanic of digging and journeying down keeping me playing. Would be nice if it stopped you for a second at the shops so that you wouldn't accidently miss them.
