First, I really liked the variety of fish, but I think it took too long to get to that variety. I thought that the only enemies were the angler-fish types for about a minute or two of playing. It got a lot more fun and I'm glad I stuck with it, but I could see players getting turned away by not seeing much variety initially. I think to fix this problem you should just make things either move a bit faster or have more fish start appearing sooner.
