Simple but nice, very original. A bit unforgiving, maybe add lives or checkpoints. Loved the art

Such a neat little game, but so hard :O I love the graphics and overall game mechanics - I audibly gasped when that color-name mismatch happened! Very nice, great job.

Big fan of the pixel art! I knew the color-name switch thing was going to happen at some point. great idea!
Made it to 99 before I lost my concentration and clicked on the wrong one

90s electronics beige and Windows 95 desktop cyan - my two favorite colors. :heart:

Great art, great gameplay, great sound design. Frustrating but in an addictive way. The small size of the pop-up close button really gets worse in higher definition screens, which I kind of get, but very unforgiving nontheless. Great job!

this game was nice and simple, with very cute pixel art (i especially appreciated the white cat just chilling there). it's a nice simple take on the theme without being too overdone so i really enjoyed this concept! nice work :)

Coming home from a long day at the at home office, this reminded me why I need to do more game jams. I enjoyed this game until it made me question my sanity! Definitely fun and I loved the look. Would be super fun as a competitive game with friends, racing to see who can make it the farthest without messing up

Love the aesthetic on this one. Maybe some muzak would be fun as a way to fill out the soundscape

Ahhh, man, this really made me nostalgic for my internship at some big-ass company... Where they were asking me to sort their paperwork over and over again.

10/10 really captures the feeling

Jokes aside, this is really well made game.

"Papers, Please", but you're an office drone. Also, literal papers.

Nicely done!

I love the look of this game! Unfortunately it doesn't work when I try to use the mac build :/ hope to play it soon!

The mac build worked for me (mojave). Really enjoyed the office ambience. The game was simple but challenging. Makes me want to get back to that desk job..

@jacobrutter thank you! also i'm happy it worked for you. not sure why it works for some people but not others...weird.

I love the art style, and trying to sort the papers as fast as possible is a bit stressful (though addictive!)

Would love to see this on mobile as well :D

I did have an issue with the MacOS build though - I had to go into the package and set the executable to user executable:

```
cd ~/Downloads/mac.app/Contents/MacOS
chmod u+x nine\ to\ five
```

@silkypantsdan thank you! i'll have to look into the mac thing. i made a mac build from a windows machine so i had no way to make sure it actually worked

I was totally expecting the twist but it still got me on the first time! The solution by @silkypantsdan for the Mac.app worked perfectly. Very nice graphics and it was really fun.
