I tried like 30 times and I couldn't beat it - also what the crap did I just play? It was hilarious and original and I think I was a horse? Shooting a mine cart with lasers? Brrrrrrrrrrr

I love it! Such a unique mechanic which leads to a lot of neat interactions. Trying to correctly space yourself with the cart to get a bat in-between is tricky, made even trickier by the cart moving as you do so. Tying the player's main action to a constantly moving part of the level is just a genius idea. I also like how the cart goes faster the closer you are to it, adding an extra layer to your decision making. It forces you to stay far enough away so that your cart doesn't go careening into a swarm of bats, but not so far that you can't shoot. Those moments where you get surrounded by bats a little too far away from your cart and you have to lure them away and make a mad scramble back were the most intense parts. Overall, a simple but incredibly smart idea. Fantastic work!

@patvanmackelberg I maybe made it bit too difficult, it is hard to balance things when you are sleep deprivated and in a hurry! Thanks for playing

@javi7 Glad you think so :D I wasn't in a mood for making complicated menu, so I just added the title, and it looked good enough

REALLY impressive for a 10 hour game. Not only is there a unique indirect mechanic going on, but it's also just enjoyable to play. There's all these little effects that make the game FEEL good that are hard to pull off in a jam let alone 10 hours of one. I wish you'd put this in compo because it would've dominated it, but you're really on to something here and I can't wait to see more of what you do.

Thanks for participating in the jam!

Im not sure what the character model was, but other than that I liked the simple mechanics of shooting the cart and hitting the bats. I didnt understand what was happening for a second but then as soon as I saw it auto shoot the cart and it move it made total sense hah!

Way to go.

The opening screen was genius, loved in!

The graphics were simple, and pleasing, as were the mechanics. I had a blast trying to improve the distance I made the previous round and ended up playing the game repetitively for quite a bit. Killing bat-sounds was a bit too loud for my liking.

Thanks for your entry!

I loved the main mechanic, is super interesting how it forces you to combat by beinc close and pointing towwards the cart. I think that something that could expand this mechanic is moving the card according to angle of the shot. This way you'll have to chose between killing enemies and making the cart advance or move backwards.

Grea job, loved it! :D

I love this, a couple more mechanics and some polish and I would play the hell out of this. Only complaint I have is that I had literally no clue what I was doing when I first started
