Dwarf Mine by Kmoor
You need to help your dwarf friends who are stuck in a mine. You will fight against creatures trough your missions!

Fixed problems: UI only aligned for 1920×1080 resolution, On the first map if you fell into the lava the Game Over UI did not appear and the player were not able to restart. Both are working fine now.

So here is what I don't like: The sound of the birds are really annoying xD (I think they are played just too fast). The Game feels a bit unfair sometimes for mostly these reasons in combination: it is very dark and hard to see enemies, some enemys can go through the floor, some can't be seen because off screen (spiders) and fall down really fast, you sometimes can't see whats above you when jumping, so the cieling ruined my jump sometimes. I would recommend playing around with this a bit because the dark/light mechanic on it's own is really nice.
Some checkpoints a bit earlier would be nice and i think that would've made me play a bit loger.
All in all a well made game just needs more polish (but which game in a Jam does not? (including mine)).
I hope my feedback is helpful. Have a nice day!
I like hardcorish of your game haha and gameplay
Btw, there is some issue with screen alignment, in tutorial and in dialogue everything wasn't lined up, I think that is because of aligning of width of the screen
And light from head of main Hero, I think that would be better if you could rotate head with mouse, because almost all time I can't see anything
And bats are OP, who strike you from above. There should be something what show that they are above you
Btw, great job :)
This game remember me "spelunky" in a good way.
The sound of bats is too annoying, maybe you should add a tutorial.
Great job
Punching didn't seem to do much for me. Kept getting killed by the first bat trying to punch it.
The jumping was also a bit fast making the jumps very difficult.
Also not being able to aim your light made some of the breakables impossible to see.
It took a while to figure out my random dying was due to some kind of traps. Those were not clear.
Just the looping sound of the bat is quite annoying. xD
Sometimes enemies just felt really anoying and unbalanced :/
And the bats have killed especially my ears :D
Feedback-wise:
- It's very hard to see stuff in the area directly around you. A small circle of light around the main character (in addition to the headlamp cone) would have been great so that you could at least see your feet.
- The punch feels very awkward to use. This is probably mostly due to very subtle animations and the difficult-to-see red hit flash on the enemies. You should make it clear the general "hit area" of a punch if you can't communicate that with an animation.
- Similarly, it was pretty hard to kill the bats, since they don't get stunned/knocked back when you hit them, and they phase completely into you and stay inside of you if you let them. This type of enemy likely should have 1 health, or it should at least get knocked back when you hit them (and you should get pushed back a bit when it hits you). Right now, they just sort of phase into your body and you awkwardly have to run away and then try to attack them.
- Spiders were very hard to see and they seemed far too quick. Give the player a chance to fight them! Have them come down more slowly, but start descending earlier instead of when the player is directly below them.
Honestly this game has a ton of charm and works really well for a LD jam game! Good job!
