Has a great feel! Great camera, well animated, responsive - I especially like that you can orient yourself differently by starting a move in different states of the rotation... Wordy, but that's what it is to me :P

A bit more variety would have made it a lot more interesting, but you have yourself a good base! :)

I liked the game. Well designed puzzles, even if I solved the elevator before I had even seen it. It would have been nice if the interaction controls were simplified. Either using no mouse and selecting interaction with arrow/wasd when in interaction mode. Or having mouse button down open the menu and the icon under mouse button up be the action selected. Each time getting caught, it all happened so fast it was disorienting the first times. It would have helped with a big "CAUGHT" splash over the whole screen and a short pause before game resumed. But as I started, I liked the game. And I particularly liked the ending. That was a very nice touch.

It felt like a good basis for a much larger game. The ending's moral felt a little forced, but I get where you were going with it. I loved the graphics though, good job!

Really well designed. The only downside personally is the use of the mouse for this. Binding the different actions to keys would be a lot more convenient.

With the ending I hope you didn't mean he's a monster because he didn't turn himself in, instead of a monster for committing a murder. Seeking for freedom is a normal human thing to do.

The game felt very polished - smooth controls, great graphics, logical puzzles and even a few humorous references. And even the sound track is part of the game world, nice touch!

The game was very entertaining, and would be a solid foundation for additional content.

Thanks for the comments so far, I am glad you have enjoyed playing our short demo. I have always wanted to make a platform game a little like Flash Back, Another World or something inspired by the likes of Half Life. When the monster theme was announced I stuck with my original idea and tried to push that into the game.

As always with more time that would have been more subtle and slowly developed as a theme in the story, no excuses though the ending is a not good.

With the controls I was hoping to implement XBOX X Y B as the options to interact or use the arrow keys left, up and right for keyboard users, time was not on our side.

We will rewrite, redesign and work on this as a project over the next few months and release an actual demo. We look forward to all the comments and will use them to make a much cleaner and more polished version with guns, tactics and more puzzles.

Thanks to anyone else who tries the game and look forward to playing all of your creations <3

I was about to give a low score to the theme until I reached the end and I realize that after all of that effort only one option was available... Congrats!

Solid entry. Especially like that failure isn't a hard reset! Might not be so realistic that they left that naked guard there but at least they replaced the lock!

Great start with the Half Life (I assume) nod, and he's even called Gordon!

Great little puzzle game, like a mini adventure game. Very glad to escape (and no I won't go back thanks)

Nice work. Really impressive amount of choice text and what-not, and pretty funny too! Wonderful lighting in such a short time, and fairly slick movement controls. WELL DONE!

Heh, interesting game with good graphics. Using the mouse (and not being able to interact with things while he's saying something) really stuttered the otherwise good flow of animations and controls.

Woah, good game! The puzzles are nice, in their place and teach players the mechanics of the game, the style and animations are quite good, and there's some humor. Too bad it was so short :D

Very solid! It's a very good base for a larger game! Maybe a skip button for the texts? And change the mouse usage for key binding? Oh also the lighting was really strong when the prisoner was next to a light bulb. The ending wasn't really exciting too... Other than that great graphics, audio, and humor! Mechanics were very nice and good puzzles (could have a bit more complex ones though). Great job!

I loved the look of this! Very dark and cold much like a prison actually would feel. The setting also made up for the lack of music as the graphics and sound effects were more than enough to get the atmosphere across, especially with such good lighting. The story was interesting although the ending was a little forced. Either being more subtle or being more blunt would have made it better(example: Having a snipper from a paper saying: "Convicted serial killer now on the loose!" or something like that). I did find some bugs. Rolling seemed to get me stuck inside of walls quite easily. Other than that, I would say keep working and adding things and this could turn into a fantastic mix of platforming and point and clicks. I like it a lot as is already!

I like your little game! The use of both mouse and keyboard feeled a bit unusual to me. But the graphics and the feel of the animations and movements were great! Good entry!

Well made platformer with good user interface. The puzzles were also nicely put together, however I wish the roll function was made a bit more clearer, and it would've been good if there were additional screens to lengthen the gameplay and made escaping a bit more challenging.

It was short but pretty cool. Like others said, perhaps controls could be a little bit simplified, however it's a great entry. It would be nice a post-jam version with more puzzles and levels. That's the kind of game that I like ^^

Short but fun, good job! You should definitely make a post-compo version.
